I tried that a while ago with no luck. But I dug up a great solution online. By accessing my site through FTP and navigating to the plugins folder, all I had to do was change the name of the folder for the plugin causing the problem and I was able to get back in and reset everything.
I was able to get in through someone else’s help but I appreciate the tip!
Thank you for your help!
Just as a followup I sent you an email. Hopefully I sent to the correct address.
.nl instead of .com?
Thanks!
Whatever works. I just obviously need to be able to get back into the site so I can manage it.
My computer savvy-ness is maybe 6 out of 10. I can access the individual files and folders on the server through FTP and I can be walked through instructions, but I know nothing about actual programming so need step-by-step help.

The site works fine. I just can’t access it as an admin. Locked out of my own site.
Can one of you help me?? I also set up my site to hide the login page by using a different slug and now I can’t get in at all!! I can’t get in using ‘wp-admin’ because I changed it, so this part is working correctly, but now I can’t even get in with my new slug because it says I don’t have permission. I’m totally screwed!
Ok, this has now become an emergency situation. I can’t login at all! I can’t login because I hid ‘wp-admin’ and I can’t login because I’m getting a message saying I don’t have permission to access the login slug I set up myself!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Configuration error – where is it??Thanks barnez. I wasted a good hour+ trying to figure all this out. Would have been nice for the developer to make all this clear.
I got things working by making the changes you mention but also adding this to the Additional Settings tab…

Maybe I don’t need the Additional Settings part anymore? But it’s working now so I’m not gonna mess with it.

In reply to: [WP Blog and Widgets] How to remove author and date?Never mind, I figured it out. Put this code in my Custom CSS:
.blog-author {display:none;}

In reply to: [Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags] Documentation for Dummies?Ok. I’m requesting documentation for the benefit of everyone who uses your plugin. I would think it would be very easy to write and help a lot of people.
Just to chime in, I’ve got Sucuri installed and it’s been giving me warnings about the exact same thing for days. There’s a setting so you can lock out users that don’t exist (like admin). I did that and have not received any warnings since.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Checkout: Terms & Conditions questionsThanks for your reply.
1a. I’m using a child theme so should I put the ‘update-resistant’ copy in there?
1b. Just to be clear, so I don’t screw anything up, the original file is mydomain/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout/payment.php. Your suggestion leaves out the templates folder so I’m wondering if that’s accurate or if I should be putting it in mydomain/wp-content/themes/mytheme-child/woocommerce/templates/checkout/payment.php.
2. URL is https://www.bubbabeancoffee.com and the checkbox is at the bottom of the ‘Checkout’ page.
3. Accessing the T&C page is fine because there’s a link for it in the phrase ‘By placing your order you accept the ‘terms & conditions”. I just want the checkbox gone because I think it will confuse people. Having it default to checked is fine but it just doesn’t need to be there at all. If this can be made invisible then that eliminates the need to move it closer to the text.
