I had the same issue @montecomis and so I deactivated all my plug-ins. The issue resolved. So I started activating each plug-in one by one testing my visual editor after activating each one. The issue resurfaced when I re-activated the Contact Form Maker plug-in. So I deactivated it again. the problem resolved. I continued on activating my other plug-ins one by one and none of the other plug-ins posed an issue. So, I installed Contact Form 7 instead and deleted the Contact Form Maker plug-in. My site is all better again!
