yes. After integrate shortcodes on Slimsat, I have the same problem. Old shortcodes from Slimstat Shortcode plugin not work.

I found temporary solution:
I make an PNG image 50×50 with text Search and no background.
On my child theme I copy /parts/menu.php from parent theme and delete:
<div class="vantage-icon-search"></div>
and on my child style.css I put this:

#search-icon #search-icon-icon,#search-icon #search-icon-icon .icon-search{
background: url('images/search.png') no-repeat;
background-size:50px 50px;
}
#search-icon #search-icon-icon {
    box-sizing: border-box;
    position: relative;
    display: block;
    cursor: pointer;
    width: 52px;
    height: 100%;
}

Is not the best solution, but save me at this moment.

update:
I use Vantage theme and Menu Icons. On this combination my page dont see on IE8. I try with Twenty Ten theme and page work.

If 2.1.5 work without internet, 2.1.6 not work without internet on free version.
