Hi and I think that’s just the issue.
I’m not interested with sorting the images within the galleries BUT instead want to sort the actual Galleries instead.
I want to have the Galleries sorted by most recent first.
I’m not concerned with how the images within the galleries are sorted.
Therefore, is it possible to change the default sort for the Galleries / Albums?
So I tried that before and it didn’t change the order.
I tested with both Ascending and Descending to see even it would switch but the same display showed. When creating an individual Gallery I’m not seeing a date option i.e. I can’t enter a date in the past for the photo gallery. That would be great since I’m rebuilding an old site with events that took place in the past. Maybe this is the reason why the date ordering isn’t working?
Or does it order by date published regardless?
In any event, the default view should be most recent first and not the other way around as it is now.
Any other recommendations?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Plugin Update Crashes WebsiteCraig, thanks for your quick response and also the link to download the old version however it was not needed.
After you asked me for my PHP version I when into cpanel and noticed that it was at ver 5.4
I upgraded it to ver 7 and re-activated the plugin and everything works now!
So the issue with this upgrade to the plugin is that it would break if using an old version of PHP. I didn’t test with any other version in between, just jumped straight to 7.1OK so apparently the new version of the plugin doesn’t require these steps anymore.
Checked my Google Drive and backups are going through. So apparently Google has updated their API and as such all plugins that haven’t yet updated their code will result in this error.
If you cannot wait for the plugin developers to update the code, a simple IFRAME embed will work.Hi, you can see the error here https://caestt.com/wp/
Look at the footer area.
Thanks!
