In reply to: [Post Comments as bbPress Topics] compatible with Events ManagerDidn’t work for me. Would love to see custom post types as a feature in the plugin itself.
I too am seeing that the new update breaks WP and gives you the WSOD (white screen of death). If you rename the folder in /wp-content/plugins/publishpress, at least you can get your site back online.
Hopefully a quick fix is imminent.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Kills Search Results Page7.0 works.
ETA on core update to 7.2?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Kills Search Results Page7.2
I’ll drop it down and do some testing and see how it goes.
On a side note (and really not trying to be negative), you might be able to say that it’s been tested with WP 4.9.9, but is it really compatible? WP suggests 7.2.
Thanks for the quick reply,

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Kills Search Results PageDid a little more digging. Since this is a dev env, and I had used it before. I didn’t go play with every option. I also imported some old events as a test, and the calendar as well as the widget worked, so silly me I never went to the Settings page. So when I arrived on the settings page, I was presented with an ugly message:
Fatal error: Declaration of Ai1ec_Html_Setting_Select::render($output = ”) must be compatible with Ai1ec_Html_Element_Settings::render($output = ”, $wrap = true, $hidden = false) in site/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/html/element/setting/select.php on line 12
In searching support, I found this thread: Fatal error: Declaration of Ai1ec_Html_Setting_Select
There was no final resolution to this problem, so I’ll wait on both.
Any resolution? I’m having the same problem.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Non-standard Media FolderI added the following to wp-config.php:
/** Change Media Upload Directory */ define('UPLOADS', ''.'media');
It’s the last thing before the WP dev’s comment:
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
Thanks for your willingness to give this a test run.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Non-standard Media FolderThanks for the quick reply.
Actually, the non-standard media folder was setup before installing MLF, and I got the error that it couldn’t find the folders. I went to your FAQ and followed the instructions to deactivate MLF, activate MLF Reset and ran Reset Database, just as you recommend above. After deactivating MLF Reset and reactivating MLF, I got the same error.
So to test it, I went to wp-config.php and set it back to the default WP setting, did the reset process again and all worked fine.
So I’m thinking that regardless of when it’s installed and/or reset, this plugin can’t handle that location. ??
Have you been able to get this to work on your end ever? Ok if not. Just curious.
Any way to do it in a near-term update? I’m interested in purchasing the premium version. This may prevent me from doing so.
Thanks.
Very true. We all tried and can’t do it.
Thanks for the reply.
I’ll give this a shot. In the meantime, when will this be incorporated into an update?
I get the same thing. The title shows up as:
“This is my post title.”>This is my post title.”
Where it not only adds the “> but also prints the title a second time.
I saw the pics you posted, but not sure what needs to be changed. Pics are nice, but it would be better to have text instructions to go with it. ??
Thanks in advance.
Wow. Still no answer here or on the LoginRadius Support Forums. Guess it’s time to find a new plugin. ??

In reply to: [FG Joomla to WordPress] Possible to skip importing users?Thanks for the advice. I do like the fact that WP would reassign this to the default user which I assume is the first user created?
But it may be a moot point. Since, even though I am not the author of every post, I am the one who created each post.
On the other hand, I have 75,000 members. Is there a quick way to delete these through WP? If I simply delete the entries in the db, it won’t reassign the post (or anything else for that matter) to the default user. Even if you point me in the direction of a good plugin, that would be helpful.
Thanks,
DonI’m getting the same thing. I’m not even trying to import yet. I get this when I test the connection to the Joomla DB. I get this at the top of the plugin page above the title: Import Joomla Premium (FG):
Warning: PDO::__construct(): Connecting to 3.22, 3.23 & 4.0 is not supported. Server is 4.0.27-standard in mylocation/wp-content/plugins/fg-joomla-to-wordpress-premium/fg-joomla-to-wordpress.php on line 341
