We got that messgae from our Server Provider today, too:

and is there the chance to send the login name of the user via email instead of the name the user put into the contact form?

in the contact form one can write whatever one wants. i would like to identify the user who sent a file via the contact form. any ideas about that?

when i use [your-name] it will only show the name i type into the name field…

Our law is sooo outdated regarding internet stuff… thats so st***d -.-

maybe I was not exact enough. it is not illegal to store ips for statistical reasons, but the ips must be anonymised. so the ip address cannot be used to identify a certain visitor.
i guess or at least i interpret our law in this way, that hiding of the last 3 digits of the ips address is enough anonymising. eg when the ip address is shown as 192.168.0.*** in my admin panel.

thats really bad, because this plugin is really nice. But it cannot be used in Germany, because here it is against the law to store the visitors IPs ??

could you mabe implement a function to hide the last few numbers of the IPs or to hide IPs completely?

already thought about turning off the error showing. but that would not make the error go away ??

When I set up the complete clean wordpress I did a fresh install of your plugin (via wordpress), too. The next thing I will try is to download the Plugin package from your website and upload it manually onto my server.

Maybe its some weird php setting? Would it be any help, if I post the php settings of my server?

I also setup a complete clean and new wordpress (with nothing else installed but the clean wordpress files. no addons, no themes, no custom files, css, etc) and I am getting this error…

Dear caimin_nwl, as I wrote above (4 posts earlier): I have 2 wordpresses (a german and an english version) freshly installed with NO themes and no plugins and no custom code or anything else. And I still get this error…

I also tried php as cgi or apache module. Does not make any difference. Can I provide any other information that might help you trying to solve this problem?

changed it in “pages/class-football-pool-statistics-page.php”
