  • There are plugins on the store which can do this, unfortunately my personal view is none of them are very decent and any that potentially may be are expensive – especially when like me you have 100’s of sites to maintain.

Anyway one which I do like and is free but requires some effort is “Duplicator”, it would require you to delete the site every time you migrate but otherwise it builds a one click installer – which is nice.

Otherwise google for a paid plugin.

On a side note which don’t help you right now, we are developing our own migration solution – don’t know when that might come to fruition though – we have a working plugin which we are actively using now with our clients, but there is more to do before we can launch it as a viable plugin for the masses.

Yep, your score is more than bad! It’s taking almost 10 seconds for the page to even load to a point that it is visible to the user!

What theme are you using? What editor do you use? If you can rebuild your site with a Gutenberg compatible theme that doesnt use any third-party page builders that would help you a ton.

I do see from the report that google ads seems to be being injected multiple times on your site, which doesnt seem right. But other than that any speed improvements would require a lot of dedication and work, you would need to contract someone im afraid to take a deep look and attempt to optimize if your wanting to keep the site built as it is now.

and i understand that… the problem with these links is a spammer is attacking our site with a ton of bad links such as this, causing redirect chains.

my clients seo consultant wants these redirect chains gone.

Isnt there any way i can stop amp from doing this and just redirecting once to a 404, or to the homepage or something.

redirect chains are ugly and bad for SEO so a solution is vital.

The problem is the messy approach it is taking… https://www.dropbox.com/s/q68xxpgeie1r4tw/opera_tuqAWbR7uR.png?dl=0

I need top disable this feature, I want it to just 404 – its not a valid URL as you said and as i said originally!!

I have disabled wordpress itself from auto redirecting, but amp seems to continue and im looking to know how to stop it trying to redirect.

    thanks

I told you at the moment yoast is not generating any schema at all. Ive defaulted back to supplying my own schema.

And no we dont see these issues with googles structured data testing, GSDT only tests googles own structured data recommendations, we use a more advanced and more stringent structured data tool built into ScreamingFrog. And this says a URL is needed for type person.

So back to my original question, how can i edit the person schema in yoast?

Thanks though for specifying how to disable it if needed, might also come in handy in the future.

    1. yes.
    2. yes.
    3. What code I am using? I’m not using any code… I’m asking for a code snippet to help me completely remove WPSEO_Schema_Person. As I indicated I tried a few examples from your docs but never found out how to access or remove that block of schema, or how to edit it as I wish or overwrite it.

At the moment I have just completely disabled yoasts schema markup and reverted back to using my own because of this and other issues with the schema not being as advanced as we needed.

Think I have found a way to do this in W3 Total Cache. Here are the instructions:

    1. go to “General Settings” find the “page cache” section and select “Disk: basic”.
    2. Go to the “Page Cache” section and find “Specify Page headers” section, add the headers you want W3 to cache, one per line. So mine is:

    Last-Modified
    Content-Type
    X-Pingback
    P3P
    Link
    x-robots-tag

Yes I noticed the same issue on our server using PHP 7.2 and suPHP. You are correct that function is losing the last character from the header names.

Initially I wondered if this was the issue for WPSC, however it doesnt even restore bad headers (missing last character) so this leads me to believe it just isnt working at all, unless it only restores select headers it dictates, which would open up multiple other problems with all the various headers that people might use and might be considered vital.

Ok I removed WP Super Cache and installed W3 Total Cache instead. Set it all up turned it on and guess what…

Not only is it caching the pages, its recognising the headers and caching those too. So this confirms that there is no issue seeing the headers as claimed.

So until this issue is fixed (because i would prefer to use WPSC) I will have to use W3 Total Cache.

as much as I appreciate your reply and I do agree what im doing manually is a little “sloppy” it is not my main concern right now.

As I said even noindex set by SEO Ultimate is not working once a page is cached.

So I need to fix this issue before I can move on with any other improvements – it looks like your function can do my custom rewrites, but does not handle the manual ones done through SEO Ultimate… So this only solves part of a big problem.

Also I do not have your issue, I’m not using FCGI which I’ve had dealings with in the past, FCGI is terrible and makes allot of advanced things hard… Anyway apache_response_headers works fine in my setup. SUPHP/PHP 7.2
