Which file in the wordpress system is it that creates the cache file so I can make some dirty hack to remove it. I want to fix the issue on the site immediately!

I tried the cache things you mentioned, none of them worked. Got them in <head>-tag.
Anyone know what the cookie is set to by default inte the wordpress-core? And why isn’t there any settings in the wordpress panel for cache if it uses it?!
Really annoying!
This issue is starting to become very critical.
Yes. The whole issue is based on if he shows the password protected pages on a public computer. Or if the customers open the pages on a public computer and don’t clear cache in the browser anyone after that user can access the private passwordprotected pages, which is really bad.

It’s running PHP5, Apache, Ubuntu Linux and MySQL5.Would be neat if it created some kind of error log to tell WHY the files could not be copied.

If you had a product and a feature was broken, would you skip it and tell the people that used it to do it some other way? Didn’t think so.What do you mean with this:
For my part, they could take out the automatic upgrade button so that only people upgrade when they have some knowledge and they create less problems for themselves. Sorry, OT.
Are you trying to look down on my knowledge because the feature does not work as intended?

This issue is not about uploading via FTP. It’s about getting the Automatic Updater to work and try to hunt down any possible bug or config/permission-issue.Forum: Installing WordPress
