Also, it could be totally unrelated to this plugin.

It looks to me that some other WP plugin is causing a conflict. Can you try the following things:

1. Logout of WP Admin and log back in again
2. Disable all other plugins / theme and activate the Insert Post Ads (Post Adverts) plugin to see if it works.

First of all, my sincerest apologies for the issue.

I think you are running v1.4 of the plugin. This bug was caused by an older PHP version and how it treats a certain function. We have fixed the issue in 1.4.1.

Please delete the plugin folder (insert-headers-and-footers) from your website’s wp-content/plugins folder and then install the latest version of the plugin (v1.4.1) from: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/insert-headers-and-footers.zip
