I have been wanting to post something along the same lines.
Many pros refer to putting this code in header.php.
However, using the amazing Childify plugin, my child themes don’t get a header.php document.I’m about to post this as its own post but this may help you too because you should always be working in a Child Theme.

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr slider_sizeImages are complicated, needing to be resized for all sorts of windows. As I said, it will be messy to change defaults and I expect you will hate the mess. You really should simply find a creative way to crop it or select a new image. OR… skip the slider and simply place nice images on your page wherever you wish.

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr slider_sizeIn the Customizr User Interface you can change the height.
Front Page Content -> SLIDER OPTIONS
Make the change, then check “Apply this height to all sliders”If you want to change the width though, I don’t know and I bet that would be a mess.
I am happy to have learned that you only need to put the email address and nothing more. My problem was elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the help and I love the benefits of buying this well-priced plugin. The site’s not clear about this yet but when you pay at any level you get the excellent database that retains and exports your form submissions, which is one of my reasons for having forms on a particular site. I’ll be having more clients buy this too.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Seeking replacement for on_sent_ok: must@konsument Thank you so much! However, I need each form to redirect to a different page so the code you suggest won’t work for me.
@strompf I was so happy to hear from you. I can’t believe I am the only person using CF7 who does what I do. Every site I run has multiple forms. I have installed WPForms and it does what I need – very easily. I am making the switch. You saved me!! I can’t thank you enough.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Seeking replacement for on_sent_ok: mustI use the Additional Settings tab and put the URL of the page I want it to go to. Like this:
on_sent_ok: "location.replace('https://iwosc.org/marketing-intensive-2017-payment/');"
But we can’t use on_sent_ok after 2017.

In reply to: [Customizr] Not compatible with some pluginsI am a normal user of Customirz, not staff.
I write this for all the other people who will read this to say that it is not common for a Theme Developer to help with plugins, so if Nicolas and his team have helped, you know how great they are.
WordPress changes a lot and it’s a big job for a theme to stay current and continue to be viable. The Customizr team does an amazing job doing this. If there is an issue reported, they look into it immediately. I have worked from various time zones and always had great help.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] snippets on presscustomizr not found anymoreI’d love to see the hooks info updated too, somehow. A note saying such and such stopped working after version-whatever. Or things that don’t work to be removed. But that said, I prefer the developers to keep creating great features with their valuable time so…

In reply to: [Customizr] Size of the Post / Design of the PostI just want to say that I love the way it looks.
Guessing you know, but just in case, you can control the text that appears on that page by putting it into the Excerpt field on the post’s page.

In reply to: [Customizr] Displaying excerpts on the grid layoutLook at the options in the Customize section. You’ll find what you need there. I recommend reading ALL the options one by one to teach yourself.

In reply to: [Customizr] Missing Site Title?Caleb, if you lost anything when you “upgraded to the latest version of customizr,” (update, actually) then you aren’t using a child theme and you are in for bad times in the future. Download Childify me plugin and create a child. Use it for your CSS and PHP customizations so you don’t lose that work during an update. You’ll be much happier in the long run.

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr 404 page quoteI actually don’t want to have anyone’s quote. I want my own message. However, as I understood, the 404 page content is WordPress, not the theme, and is a wordpress issue.

In reply to: [Customizr] Pre Purchase QuestionsI don’t work for Customizr but the answer will be the same for any WordPress theme. To customize, create a child theme and make your changes there. (You do not copy and rename the theme.) Knowledge of CSS is your first best friend for WordPress customization. Customizr provides support for hooks for further changes.
If you edit the code directly your work may be undone in an update. I can’t imagine any theme creator being willing to support your edits directly to the theme. That’s what the Child Theme is for.
There is an excellent plugin called Childify Me that will create the child theme for you.
Hope that helps.
