Hi and thanks for the feedback.
It makes sense on MU installs. I’ve added it to the enhancement list on GitHub. I will drive some tests and if everything goes smoothly it will be included on a future release.
Hi,
Can you update to latest version (all websites) and see how it goes? To be sure the result is conclusive please make sure you update all three websites to Analytics Insights 6.0.4 and re-authorize all.
@simon_a6, @danniee001 and @aussiepurplecow you had similar issues, you’re feedback is welcomed as well.

In reply to: [Clicky Analytics] Dashboard Report Sticks to the dateHi,
Thanks for the report, that’s really a bad UX. It was fixed on v2.0.4. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Hi,
The option was introduced with the GA4 support, the only reason of the option was allow users to switch off GA3. It was removed with the GA3 support drop.
Can you detail a bit your usage case? I want to better understand it in consideration of bringing it back.
PS: If you want for example to disable a widget on frontend/backend or the tracking code these options are already available within Backend/Frontend/Tracking sections.
Thanks all for the feedback.
Since it looks like that the API is sending inconsistent data (it could be the plugin as well), we’re going to leverage total count from real-time report to JavaScript. Let me know if 6.0.3.2 fixed it.
That’s based on device type, so most probably who’s not on a tablet, desktop or mobile device, isn’t a real countable user.
This value is practically a sum of possible devices, which are displayed on the left of total users.
Also keep in mind that for resources consuming reason the real time on your WordPress dashboard will refresh at every 55 seconds, no matter if you reload the page or not.

I would strongly recommend switching back to latest 6.0.3.1, because 6.0 to 6.0.2 are fixes on authorization issues which can lead to random authorization loses. Or worst case scenario trying 5.9.x.
Hi,
Try 6.0.3 and let me know how it goes. I wasn’t able to replicate it, but updated the totals count to a more reliable method.
Hi,
From Backend Settings can you temporarily increase the Maximum number of pages to display on real-time tab to something like 50 and check if the total number is similar to the one displayed?

Hi,
It seems that there’s a bug, when using your own Google Cloud Project. Meaning that your using your own project and API credentials, is this the case?
You’re using the latest version of the plugin, right?
InvalidArgumentException may be the cause of the issues you have, the object following the error should give you a clue about the issue. It could be practically anything from server issues (e.g. insufficient memory) to a conflict (e.g. a plugin conflict).
GA3 is older Google Analytics / Universal Analytics.
i can confirm that on the test site everything was fine, both dashboard and tracking functionality.
Hi,
I just run some tests. Here are the results:
- If there are multiple GA4 properties and GA3 properties, by deactivating GA3 everything looks fine
- if there’s only one GA4 property and a GA3 property (or multiple GA3 properties), by deactivating GA3, after Save the GA3 remains deactivated and the GA4 selection box deactivates (since there’s only one property there is nothing else to select). So it’s a normal behavior, the disabled selection list doesn’t mean GA4 is disabled it only because there isn’t anything else to select since there is only one option there.
If there’s anything else to test let me know.
Got it, I will try to replicate and post back the results.
No, most probably I didn’t understood right. Can you post a screenshot of the screen?
