    Thank you for your explanation.
    Please forgive me for my ignorance…but I thought that one could use this program for more than just blogging and actually use it to design and create a web-site. And if that’s true, then how do I use it with my web hosting company? Don’t I have to install it on my own computer then publish it to web hosting company for others to view?
    Background:
    I only have experience using Yahoo’s Site Builder application, which I installed on my system. However, the reason that I’m looking to use WP is because I want to have a blog on my web site and Yahoo’s program doesn’t offer that.

    I guess I’m confused. I have limited experience with this stuff.
    When it states “Provider” does that mean web hosting company? Does the web hosting company need to enable Php?
