I am having a similar problem!
I can see this appears to add 2 widgets but widgets aren’t really the way to build up a page of content are they?
I want to build a fully functional library with users and borrowing etc
part of this will be listing books but then there will be a whole load more interaction after that.

your code to stick book-review on the end gave a 404 page not found!

but on another page I put the code from above –> ‘[book-reviews type=”title”]’
on a line on a page called books and then the book i created as a tested showed up.
‘https://darutawheed.co.uk/books/’
this is not the intended use!
how can this be used to build up a library?
can other parameters be passed in here –> ‘[book-reviews type=”title”]’ ??
