Everything is up and running. Thank you very much! I’m going to expose my stupidity here for everyone to see with the intention of helping anyone that made the same mistake that I did. My biggest problem was not seeing the podpress settings at the end of the post. In my new posts, the page is so long, you have to scroll way down to see the part where you add the url, etc., so I missed that part thinking I was already at the end of the page. Nevertheless, it was your help that directed me to make the changes. Much appreciated! Take care…

I think I may have multiple issues going on here Tim. First, I’m not using the default setting as my permalink but I still get this as a feed URL https://nontypicalhunter.com/?feed=podcast. Shouldn’t that change when I change the permalink? Anyway, I’m confused on how to upload my “test” podcast. Maybe that’s my problem. I originality uploaded it directly through FTP but shouldn’t there be an easier way to do this directly through my WordPress? Is it also possible that I’m not seeing everything that I’m supposed to because I’m using Chrome as my browser? Thanks

Interesting read. I am also having trouble with 404 errors and am ready to pull my hair out. There has to be an incompatibility issue somewhere as I cannot get my podcast to work. All I get is 404 errors when I try to validate. I think I’ve read about every post on this forum regarding this issue.

I have also re-saved the permalinks with no luck.

I’ve been trying to upgrade to WordPress 3.1 and another “poll” plugin with no luck. It seems like whatever I try download to my site, it stalls. When I hit download automatically, it appears to download but just sits there doing nothing when it says it’s “unzipping”. Anyone else having these issues? I never had any issues downloading plugins or upgrades before.
