After the new update of the Colormag theme, the situation is more stable.
Still not resolved in my configuration but I am not able to pinpoint the issue.

We were able to reproduce the issue in our test environment without any other plugins. The situation is with Colormag together with the Nextgen Gallery plugin.

Observations:

• The issue was not with version 2 of the Colormag theme.

• The issue is not with another theme (tested with 2023-theme)

• It occurs when using the Pro Blog Style in Nextgen Gallery. The Colormag theme takes the max width of the gallery style as an absolute value. Upon resizing the screen the value still is absolute interpreted.
  In Version 2 of the theme the size of the image was limited to the max version of the screen. We noticed because of the width in our Nextgen Pro Blog (1600px) in version 3 was interpreted as an absolute value and all pages using it went off screen. Because of that, we already resized to 1140px.

Because the issue was not in release 2 and is not in the other theme I would like to address this issue to Colormag and not to Nextgen Gallery.

As it is default behavior now, do you suggest that it can be altered by a setting. Because I could not find it. If so, which setting, where to find?

And if not, it seems to be a change. I do not think it is an overall design improvement as mentioned in the changelog.

Why don’t you normalize your records in the database? There are a couple of text fields in wp_burst_statistics that could easily be transferred to another table (and joined when necessary). For instance entire_page_url or referrer.

After a relatively quiet Pentecost (Pfingsten / Pinksteren) weekend on my website, I can already see some table growth (as a new user). When I extrapolate that to a period of 10 years, the tables will become substantial.
