Hi Elroy,
I still didn’t get a reply here or the slack channel. But after testing myself this problem appears when you try to run the plugin using the incorrect PHP version.
Since I didn’t hear back from you I am going to close this ticket and mark it as resolved.
If it turns out that this persists on the correct PHP version, please open another ticket, reach out to me in the Beans Slack Channel, or alternatively post an issue on the Github page:

I have also messaged you in the slack channel.
I think you might have come across the same situation as Paal, he raised the this Parse error on the plugin’s github here:

The issue with Paal was he was developing locally on Desktop Server using PHP5.5.4, but the minimum PHP version for this plugin is 5.6 as it is using namespacing amongst other things.
Could you confirm that you are using PHP5.6+ please?

Thanks, I will head over to the slack channel. It can be a bit difficult using slack from my location (China), but currently my VPN is holding up okay.

Nevermind then.
In actual fact, I managed to translate the button text, it showed up in WPML strings translations.
However I had to scan repeatedly and I ended up with two loads of strings for one plugin…
It appears under both Hustle and WordPress-Pop-Up
The biggest problem I have is:
1. Translating placeholder text.
2. Translating opt-in custom content and custom success messagesI may come back if you fix that and also the admin screen problems. At the moment I have rolled my own Sendy solution, but it lacks the bells and whistles.

On my localhost it works fine. Using local by flywheel – php 7.0.3. Live hosting is siteground – php 7.1. So there is a discrepancy there.
Re the member support, yeah… my problem was more that support would just go quiet for weeks at a time, and then just repeat the same questions. When I have problems with other SaaS solutions, they usually actually do something to find out why I have a problem. For example OnTheGoSystems will actually take a duplicate of my site, run it on their local hosts and actually work out what the problem is…
If I were to maintain a subscription to WPMUDEV the level of support is laughable (my apologies for being so salty – I do remember that you tried). You would be taking the equivalent of a lifetime developer subscription for some services… but taking it each year, but not once did you guys actually solve any of the bugs I submitted. You had a look in, poked around, and in some cases left my site critically disabled on the front end with cowboy coding, as opposed to taking a duplicate to your local.
For the money you guys wanted, debugging on a local copy should be a given.
Anyway, plugins I am running: Types, Views, WPML Multilingual CMS (cms, stickylinks, string translation, translation management), SVG support, autoptimize, fast secure contact form, duplicator
I have another problem with your internationalisation in another ticket.

Just blank admin screens for editing settings. All my settings are correct. I set them on my local host where this problem doesn’t happen. But the live site just throws up blank admin screens
