I understand your concern, but installing such software is a customer choice. It’s just like installing a hack we can’t do much towards that. Even google’s youtube videos get hijacked by such plugins.
Our plugin provides a viewer to read PDF files. securing PDF is totally different domain.

Your PDF is just one page, use an image instead. That won’t get downloaded automatically.

Second question:
Use lightbox shortcode. that is what you are looking for.
It will be similar to https://dearflip.com/flipbook-examples/

It’s working now.

The download is popping up because you might have IDM, or other quirky download managers, which hijacks browsers and interrupts file access. You have chosen to install such software on your computer, so it’s obvious to have interference.

Thanks for this info, we will look into the compatibility issue with another flipbook plugin as it’s necessary to avoid this situation in future.

Hi,

You are using another plugin that uses similar libraries to work with, but different versions. Maybe due to conflict.
Have you tried disabling the interactive flipbook?

Also, there is an error from the plugin.

Do let me know if it works after disabling the other flipbook plugin. I am sure you are testing these plugins and won’t be using both in your site.

Can you make sure your http pages are redirecting to https properly?

If that is fixed and recommended in every site. You wont have any mixed content issues.

Make sure
https://katabaca.com/baru/ebook/fiqih-islam-for-kids-jilid-1/
redirects to
https://katabaca.com/baru/ebook/fiqih-islam-for-kids-jilid-1/
automatically and then you will have https installed properly

Hi,

Can you try with a PDF that has text without outlined and works normally as text.
Outlined text use resources that mobiles cannot provide enough memory.. I tested in Galaxy S7 – no issues..

Which mobile did you test with?
I hope it’s not safari.

You can add a flipbook in one page and then provide link to that page.. and set that link to open in new window.

That is due to permission issues.. the shortcode or the plugin is only activated when a user is found.. this is not the normal behaviour unless some security plugins restrict the plugin..

For example if you setup a clean environment or site.. the plugin works ..

Try disabling some plugin to make sure which one is causing the issue.. then enable the plugin which is preventing access and check their setting..

We had one client who had such behaviour restricted by a permission plugin..
