In reply to: [Hueman] Use page category for slider rather than post categoryJust to update this…
The update to Hueman 3.0 broke this functionality again. It was easy to fix though, I just made the same change as suggested above again, only now the file is parts/featured.php instead of inc/featured.php

In reply to: [Hueman] Use page category for slider rather than post categoryWith the Category Tag Pages plugin.

Thanks.
That works great, thanks. Looks a lot better. Seems odd they thought left-aligning it looks better than centred!
Thanks. I’ve uploaded a few larger images and that seems to resolve it.
However, I would still like to suggest this is a bug in the formatting. There’s no reason why a smaller image can’t be centred correctly – after all, it is when there is no content sidebar.Make a child theme and add this to the CSS:
.content-area, .content-sidebar { padding-top: 0; }
Really tearing my hair out with this now. If I remove the right content bar, everything displays correctly. Put it back, and the featured images shift to the left again.
A possible solution here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/featured-content-are-panoramic-not-square-and-do-fill-allotted-space?replies=9which resizes the thumbnails, works insofaras they size the images correctly and they not longer “hide” behind the left bar, but they’re still not centred.
That made the images the correct size, but they’re still not centred.
Same issue here – does it work when you remove the content bar widgets? It does for me.
Not that that’s a useful fix, just wondering…
