Posting this here (hope you don’t mind!), as it’s sort of similar to what I want:

Imagine I have a site at mysite.com, and in that there’s a WP install at /wp.

I want to replace all the content at mysite.com with pages from WP, but keeping my existing blog at /wp.

So, basically, I’ll have an entirely new site at mysite.com, powered by WP, but all the stuff at /wp will remain as-is.

Is this possible?

Add the iPhone app “Blogpress” to that list too now.

I’m getting the same problem, only with the iPhone app and Flickr. Neither can use the XMLRPC file. Everything worked fine in 2.7, but in 2.8 it’s broken.

1&1. Bizarrely, everything is working again today, and I didn’t change anything.

I have a similar problem. Since upgrading to 2.7.1 from 2.7, all comment notifications are now sent to the email address of my usual login, not the admin login. Why? Everything seems to be set up correctly, and I didn’t change any settings – just upgraded.

OK, fixed now – I uploaded *everything* again. I think my FTP client was only uploading newer files, and some of the new 2.5 files actually had an older datestamp than those on my server.

I’m getting the same problem! Replacing all of the wp-includes files doesn’t help.
