In reply to: WP Menu Manager stopped workingI have just also noticed that in my plugins folder there a folder called “menubar-templates” with a folder called “suckefish” inside that. Maybe I tried some kind of menu plugin in the past which messed it up. I have deleted that folder but no change.

In reply to: WP Menu Manager stopped workingYes, apart from this it seems to be the only problem. I have not used the menu manager for at least a couple of years so I have no idea how many updates there have been in that time.
As far as I know none of the core files have been modified. I did change to https a while ago but did a search and replace and everything seemed to work ok
I have taken another look and see that the link points to
https://www.nemojames.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=wp-menu-creator
The URL is https://www.nemojames.com.

In reply to: WordPress Website hackedI have three websites which were all hacked. I installed the free version of wordfence and found it amazing. It cleaned all the sites and now monitors my sites, sending me constant alerts. I was also able to set up 2FA with it.
Yes thanks. I did what you suggested and it is ok now
See for yourself
Popup builder pluginI don’t understand. The latest version I have installed says it is version 5.3.65

In reply to: White screen of death is fixed by logging inCan anyone answer my original question. Why would the act of logging on to admin clear the fault ?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: White screen of death is fixed by logging inThe large memory setting was not done by me but the host provider support during an earlier problem with the same plugin. I don’t need to do a deep examination as I already know it is the popup builder plugin that is causing the problem. If I remove the plugin the site works, if I put the plugging back it stops working.
I would love to use another plugin for popups but I spent a couple of weeks creating popups with this plugin and don’t want to do it all again.

In reply to: White screen of death is fixed by logging inIt is popup builder at popup-builder.com. Their support seems to try hard but don’t appear to know what they are doing.
The error is as expected down to memory
15-Apr-2020 06:24:26 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx.com/wp-includes/meta.php on line 964
What I don’t understand is why the act of logging onto to WordPress admin seems to clear the problem until next morning.
I have of course reported the problem to the developer (it is the 6th time they have broken my site with various bugs) but after two days it is still the same. I am hoping someone here might have some ideas.
I have got aroundg the problem by removing a couple of columns of the table,
thanks anywayTry the search and replace thing and still the same problem. The page will only work if I disabe the mixed content filter but if I do that the site is no longer fully secure
