In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] How to create a 2 column grid?Heya Tricia,
Is this what you need?
I’ve got a grid setup. Depending on the size of the thumbs and the thumb CSS, I get a different amount of columns.
Let me know, so I can provide the code. It must be around here somewhere, but can’t seem to find it myself.
Best regards,

Heya Dan,
You’re welcome. Wow, just did the update and it worked like a charm. Thank you for making this possible.
Delmar
Hey Dan,
It’s me again. Still got you on my 2do list (donation) but need some more time to help out with a small contribution.
Keep having problems with some specific page captures. Every once in a while (30 days or when I update a link), I have to deactivate the plugin, reactivate it, get the “WordPress database error: [Table ‘…m_wp_WPPortfolio_debuglog’ doesn’t exist] SELECT * FROM” error, deactivate it again and reactivate it, for all to work..
Any ideas? It would be perfect if I didn’t have to do that and could have up to date thumbs.
Thanks in advance. Know you’re a busy dude.
Best regards,
Delmar
Dear Dan,
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve changed the setting and am looking forward to the updated plugin for my other websites.
Thanks again! I’ll send you a little something something, at the end of the month.
Best regards,
Delmar
Heya Dan,
Good to hear that. Thanks for your quick reply. Glad that you managed to make some time, know you’re busy.
Is their anything I can do, at the moment? Or should I just wait a couple of days until you’ve double checked the new code?
D.
Thanks Jan.
Just sent you the info @ hello. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, can’t PM here. Could you please give me your email address? Don’t think I still have it..
Thanks in advance.
Heya Dan,
Thanks, appreciate it. Don’t know what’s going wrong. I clear the cache and everything works perfectly after a couple of minutes. A couple of weeks later, I get the “Thumbnail queued” thumbs, without getting any error messages or changing anything else myself.
I’ll give you access. I’ll PM you my data..
Thanks for all the effort Dan. You’ve got a wonderful plugin on your hands.
Thanks again and enjoy your week!
D.
This feedback, from my host, might help:
Hello,
Thanks for contacting technical support. The Portfolio plugin and WordPress are
third party software which is usually outside of the realm of our support.
However I looked into this as best I could and after checking the
sumterd_vonsuri database, I found that the column that the command below is
looking for does not exist.WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘request_param_hash’ in ‘where
clause’]
SELECT * FROM wp_WPPortfolio_debuglog WHERE request_param_hash =
‘0b7374286b0c223696dde52e36fcb85a’ AND request_date > NOW() – INTERVAL 12
HOUR ORDER BY request_date DESCIf you said it was working before we could try restoring a backup from a few
days ago to see if that helps. You could also try reinstalling the plugin or
even disabling it. Another option would be having your developer going in and
creating the column request_param_hash and see if that helps.Let us know if you would like us to do a restore from a backup and if you would
please confirm which database you would like restored.—
Best Regards,Dear Dan,
Thanks for your reply. There’s no update option when I go to my installed plugin. It states that I already have the latest version. Can’t find the 1.27 version anywhere. Just the 1.26 version.
When I manually try to install (the 1.26 version which is 1.27 when you click the link), I get the following error:
***
Unpacking the package…Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/sumterd/public_html/delcks/wp-content/plugins/wp-portfolio/
Plugin install failed
***Yes!!!
After weeks of trying everything in cooperation with Dan and ShrinkTheWeb, it finally works! I turned off “PHP Safe Mode” and “Lock Access to Account” and it works like a charm!
Whoohooh, thanks for your patience and your assistance Dan.
Best regards,
Delmar
