Yes, thank you this is precisely what was happening, I appreciate you taking the trouble to answer I managed to access the bootstrap css and edit the colors there. Sorted!

After looking at this, and seeing quite a few issues with the Theme My Login plugin, I have disabled TML and it works fine. So there is obviously a major conflict between PMP and TML plugins-because TML modifies the whole WP login process, it must share some PHP coding hooks with PMP.
Anyone else having problems with logging in please take note-check if you have the Theme My login installed-the two just don’t get along ??

If by chance this is read by any staff of PMP you might want to check that the paid version does not have a similar issue, this is potentially a great plugin and I appreciate your work-just these plugin conflicts plague WP users ??

I received this CSS code patch from the theme author/s
If you install Jetpack this places an ‘Edit CSS’ option under the ‘Appearance’ menu in wordpress Admin. This worked for me and it is very easy, just paste this code into the edit CSS style sheet and save it:

I have a similar issue with the Vantage theme-it seems to use the logo as the header image, the reported space was 1080x 481 i installed a logo image of those dimensions but the image is now surrounded by white space.
Is there a way to change the actual header area so it accommodates the image size fully?
