Added note, the events box doesn’t show anything. When clicked, it is blank and stays out as noted above.

I’ve gone with some jquery script instead.

I have 0.1.8…I didn’t see anything in this latest update that allows positioning.

I am having the same problem with positioning. How do you center the slideshow?

It’s called, simply, Calendar, and can be found here:

It does not require creating a post to show. It has it’s own interface in which to insert events. It can be styled. And it’s truly a one click installation. I’ve used it before, but thought The Events Calendar might add a layer of sophistication, yet I am satisfied with its appearance and performance.

Nevermind. I decided to go with another calendar.

That’s pretty cool. I tried it and it worked fine.

WP wouldn’t load the plug-in from my desktop, but I was able to get it through the plug-in panel and it loaded.

I got NextGen Gallery loaded. I couldn’t do it by having WP get it from my desktop. I went through the ‘add’ a plugin panel, searched for it, and was able to load it.

I’m still learning things. One of the things I’m learning is that there is often more than one way to do something.

That’s what I had done. I upgraded via the admin interface.

Samboll, thank you for responding, however, it did not work for me. I overwrote the http.php file through ftp, and still got the same message:
Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Interesting. I acidentally came upon a solution. When I pulled my page widget into my sidebar, the page I was trying to list among my category navigation just showed up. Just like that…But I would still like a solution for my previous post.

Now is there a way to work out the order of the labels in the navigation bar?

My host changed all the info on the config file. I don’t want to upend anything. The new config file must be tied to the new installation.

I’m not sure why you think I didn’t take/want your help. Some of what you were telling me is over my head, but your help was/is appreciated.
