There are a lot that are available like Box.net or Imeen.com but I’m having a hard time getting these things to work on the new WP. Try Wordphonic if you have a lot of free space to keep MP3s on your server.

I think it’s just that the plugins aren’t working in WP 2.5.1. I’m already investigating which ones are officially “broken” with this new upgrade.

This plugin apparently doesn’t work with my site. I’m using 2.3.3 and maybe SezWho is interfearing. {shrug}

I still can’t get any of the AdSense widgets or code to work. I have no idea how this whole program works. Nothing displays on my website at all!

I had to delete the updated plugin.

I don’t know if it will work at all. I tried to use it to upgrade WordPress from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 and I keep getting the message “failure at step 7”. The plugin is apparently useless for the latest WP versions and I have to upgrade manually as usual.

Don’t give up. Keep reading about WordPress and trying to get things rolling. The more you play with it, the more you’ll be able to figure it out. I would say to forget trying to past a Flickr badge code and go for a widget that you can download and select to use in your sidebar. Your site isn’t up anymore so I’m wondering if you’ve tossed the blog idea all together. :-/

Thanks and sorry for “breaking the rules” by starting a new topic. How was I to know? I was trying to discuss this in the Bad Behavior’s topic forums instead so that the author would be notified and people with the exact same problem could reply. I figured that organizationally it will be simpler than going off topic and discussing Bad Behavior in the Digg It topic forum. Oh well.

The problem was a difference in a Windows hosting package and a Linxus hosting package. I had to update to Linxus so the PHP capability was enabled. Now I know! Thanks again.

I was having the same problem with the “This link does not appear to be a working link. Please check the URL and try again” error when I try to use my Digg It button on my posts.
Thanks for mentioning the Bad Behavior plugin because as many of you know, it was outdated and was causing the blogger to be banned from their own blog. I updated it but now the Digg It problem is still having trouble apparently. I’ve posted something at the Bad Behavior support forum about the conflict.

Here’s what’s wrong with my GoDaddy domain hosting. I’m getting the “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress.” What the heck is this about. I’ve worked with WordPress on different hosts for a while and I’ve never received this message. I created a SQL database with my GoDaddy host manager to see if this is the problem. I’ve cut and paste my sql backup files to conform to their 2MB file size requirements and yet I still can’t get my site back up.
Anyone else have major issues with GoDaddy like this?

Okay, so now that I have the backup file saved on my computer, have changed web hosts and totally reinstalled WordPress 2.2.1, plugins and everything, what do I do with this backup file? Where do I upload it?
