In reply to: [Yoast SEO] problem working with template shortcodesIt seems that this may have been raised before:

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error in sitemapsGoogle XML Sitemaps is not a good plugin either, I heard is too resource intensive for some hosting companies…
I totally get your situation, the point is, when someone whose site has potentially lost Google rankings overnight because of a defect with the free plugin, and cannot even speak to someone about the best way to deal with such serious regression defect, what guarantee does one have that an issue will be resolved in premium version of plugin?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] problem working with template shortcodesJust want to let you know that as nobody has responded to my question and this is impacting my production site, I will now have to rate your plugin 1 star!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] problem working with template shortcodesMy site SEO is well messed up for days now, I do need an answer ASAP!
Is there an older stable release of this plugin that would fix this problem?
Or should I just try out another similar plugin?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] problem working with template shortcodesDo the developers or associate plugin parties respond to questions here, like my question above?
What action should I take next to establish if this is a regression bug or if this is simply not supported by the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin?
I really would appreciate some help ASAP!
Thank You
Hi dmonnier, Not sure if you been following thread…
when do you think we might see a fix for this issue?By the way, issue is not resolved ??
I have setup a Wamp test environment as I could not afford to mess around with the production environments, and I think I been able to pinpoint what other process is causing the conflict, it seems to be my child theme.
1st i made sure i disabled and removed all other plugins, there was nothing left, not even caching plugins, but issue was still occurring.
So I changed the theme to Twenty Fourteen and was able to active your plugin, I then attempted to re-activate the affected theme and was able to recreate the issue again while your plugin was active. Using trial and error, i establish that all other themes are fine but the particular child theme is the one that breaks your plugin.

What is strange is that no one else has reported this issue before, so it must be something in your code.
I did find a post about a similar error:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1953857/getting-a-fatal-error-cannot-redeclare-function-errorI’m not a developer, so good luck trying to fix the issue.
Hi,
1) Installed plugin but did not activate it.
2) Edited plugin file via the plugin editor.
3) Made the changes you recommended and saved it but I’m still getting the exact same error as before.
4) After recreating issue, I doubled checked that the changes were implement properly by downloading file to my local drive, before i deleted the plugin via ftp.Sorry, status of issue is not resolved!

In reply to: [Title Experiments Free] Does this work with Yoast or AIO SEO plugins?Hi Jason,
Sorry, maybe my descriptions were not clear enough, please find below links to those extremely popular SEO plugins:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-seo/
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/I would think that more then 99% of WordPress users would have one or the other installed.
If you never used either of them before please also let me know ??
Thanks
Thank you Jonas, but I already have some fairly good ones for amazon(prosociate&codedanyon), i also have one for commission junction(prodo), but as you guys already designed the API in this software to interact with a lot of other programs, i was wondering if you already had something or would know of something to interact with those other programs. Maybe i just need to get netbeans out and create something by myself. Thanks anyway.

In reply to: How to change the product tab orderHi ADM,
I’m trying to do the same thing in my child theme, and as per instructions here:
https://docs.woothemes.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/
but i’m also having problems. The editing is being done in the template function.php file.
Changing the order with just 3 tabs seems to work fine but not with 4 tabs, which is what you also have.
What plugin did you buy to resolve this issue?
Thank you

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] I've decided to go back to wp super cacheI have only tried to de-activate wp super cache and enable your plugin to see if it was better, but in one environment where i have a multi-site, i could only enable your plugin in one site but not the other, in the other i had to continue using wp super cache.
In the other sites, at first your plugin seem very good, but as time went on the sites were more and more unstable, enabling wp super cache with your plugin the sites seem to fly but there were a series of issues with things not refreshing, even plugins not updating because very everything is cached.
Another thing i must say, i’m using cloudflare in all my sites.
Right now i have decided to install JetPack in most of the heavy sites as JetPack comes with a free CDN service built-in called photon, and this together with WP super cache has finally stabilized my sites, additionally as i said i also use cloudflare even with JetPack.
IMO, your plugin may be ok for small projects, but for larger sites, it still lacks some performance tricks that wp super cache seems to have.
However I will continue to monitor the improvements and if it gets better then wp super cache then I will be happy to change.
IMO, one of the biggest issues with WordPress sites is performance related issues due to the amount of DB queries generated by plugins, there is quite a few old/outdated plugins out there that seem to help improve performance reducing the large amount of DB queries but using outdated plugins has dangers in itself. I also noticed when using these sometimes I cannot even update other plugins or analytics may not even work…
If you want to debug or examine which plugins are slowing down your site, just install another plugin called “query monitor”, and remember in the end of the day to increase performance the number of DB queries need to be reduced.
This outdated post does some interesting reading on the topic of DB queries: https://yoast.com/wordpress-performance-optimization/
Thank you for resolving issue so quickly.
I have updated my rating to 5 star as the plugin now does what is suppose to do and nothing more.
