I have the same problem.
I am using a plain text email with the following code:

Was there anything you needed help with at all?</p><p>If you need any help, please let me know and I'd love to give you a hand! The {{cart.link}} just doesn’t add the “:” after HTTPS and before // when clicked, resulting in a dead link.
How do I sort this out?
