You need to approve the annotation like the approval function in comments, once first comment is approved all future comments for that person will automatically approved.

All the notes are stored in the database table, for your case you need to remove plugin table ‘wordpress_demon_imagenote’ for a clean install, then install and active the plugin again should create the new table without any issue.

The plugin will try to create new table if it doesn’t exist, and if table exist with older version it will alter to latest structure, for your case it looks like the plugins try to alter the latest table structure.

The issue is fixed after version 3.0.

The reason why you get the error is because there is no record in database yet, download the latest version should fix the problem.

The Demon Image Annotation plug-in is only Compatible up to WordPress 3.1.2, please upgrade your WordPress and download the latest version of Demon Image Annotation to test.
