I stopped using this plugin because I had the same experience as jacwright. I liked it until I tried posting a comment myself as a test. I verified that my browser (firefox) had JavaScript and cookies enabled. the plugin gave me an error saying that I needed to have JavaScript and cookies on, that it detected JavaScript, but stated that the server was saying that JavaScript was off. It wouldn’t allow the post. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall it. It shouldn’t need troubleshooting. It should work. people aren’t going to hassle with it, they’re just going to move on, and I don’t have time to work on it myself. Sorry, I know a lot of work went into it.

I discovered that I accidentally wrote a page rather than a post. The draft for the page didn’t show up when I was looking for it, but at least I now know to look both in the posts section and the page section when finishing a draft.

Thank you for your speedy reply. I am in total agreement with you that a fresh install isn’t ever the ideal answer. I use only linux and open source software, so I long ago dropped that world view.

I already had done what you suggested, and it seemed the most logical answer. When I did, it didn’t work so I moved the theme folder back into the directory. When you suggested I try doing it (again, although you didn’t know it because I didn’t tell you) I did an FTP delete like the first time, cleared the browser catch, and loaded the WP page again. The screen was blank, no error message, and wp-admin let me log in. Problem solved.

    Best,
