I can confirm it is an issue with 2.1.1 as I just downloaded and installed 2.1.0 and it does not have this problem.

So for @m5sanagni go to the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/give/advanced/ and download the older version and wait for a fix before updating.

I came here to see as I have the exact same issue. Had to disconnect Give. I was planning to build it into the site I am building.

Well actually I found a way.
Insert a sidebar widget in Elementor that references a sidebar from your theme then in that sidebar under appearance put the widget (ie image) that you want to be sticky.

Ps.. I am surprised at your outright dismissal, there is always a way (If you don’t find it someone else surely will.) and I am sure elementor would help you integrate your plugin with there’s. Elementor is already the most used pagebuilder and developers are jumping on board with amazing addons.
Let this be a challenge to you then to find a way, no disrespect meant.

So here’s the rundown of my experience with these guys.
My request : add missing ability to strip shortcodes.

There are 2 000 000+ installs of WPBakery Page builder ( previously called Visual Composer) and on everyone of those sites this plugin would be Broken not to mention all the other WordPress installs where people are using short-codes. So in my opinion I reported a bug.

They wanted me to pay to have their coders develop this option, which I thought was wrong. It would improve their plugin for all so why should I be the one to pay for that.
I decided not too and will investigate other options. They seemed a bit mickey mouse to me for what I believe is a large company. No ill feelings, just didn’t gel with such a business model, each to their own.

I too am having this problem.
I have the setting set to create a featured image, but it only does it randomly like about every third site. The rest it just pulls the image into the content even though I have not chosen that.

I have tried uninstalling both the plugin and chrome app (in opera) but no joy.

Hi just a follow up.
It really does seem to be stripping the code, this is quite SCARY.
I disabled express curate and made the colour changes I wanted, saved it ok and all was well…. Until

I came back and made an unrelated change to my wp page after express curate was again activated and when I saved the page it stripped all the background colours out leaving me back at square one.

I hope others can be warned about this particular behaviour so they don’t lose any work or time searching for the cause.

I hope this can be fixed pronto, until then I will have to unfortunately leave this plug in de-active state.

Hi I have spent an hour eliminating other plugins as the possible cause of this issue.
I then found the following on your wp forum.

Detail of problem:

Once Express Curate is active, It becomes impossible to change the background colour of any column inside visual composer.
You can set it in design options and save changes but when you go to Update page it loses any and all changes related to color as described.

I believe this thread may well be related, as the poster above mentions page builder problems but doesn’t say what exactly.

As suggested in the quoted thread I have emailed you with details of my system.

The brilliant guys at Jolt Host persevered and found the solution for me.

“–noticed the following error message: “PHP MAX MEMORY: Unabled to set php memory_limit”
We then have accessed your account’s cPanel control panel >> “Software” section >> clicked the “Select PHP Version” icon >> chose alternative PHP 5.5 version from the drop-down menu >> clicked the “Set as current” button >> clicked the “Switch To PHP Options” link >> max_execution_time value was increased from 30 to 300, max_input_vars value was increased from 1000 to 2000, memory_limit value was increased from 128M to 512M, post_max_size value was increased from 8M to 128M and upload_max_filesize value was increased from 2M to 512M >> clicked the “Save” button.”

Everything works for me now. Hope this helps others.

Yes I am afraid this is a biggie,
Try using the plugin with long posts then it will be obvious.
It really needs a smooth scroll up.
