Thanks for checking out Huzzaz. You can definitely change the window size of the “stage”/video!

The video gallery is fully responsive so it will fill up any containing element that it is in. You can see this by trying out different page templates with sidebars and without sidebars. And if the browser is resized or being looked at on a mobile or tablet, the video gallery will adjust as well.

If you want the video gallery to be smaller, all you need to do is wrap it in a <div> and specify the width that you want. For example <div width=”600″>[huzzaz id=”example’]</div> will set the width of the video gallery to 600 px.

Currently, there is not a way to change the font size. However, the video thumbnails will shrink or grow depending on the overall size of the video gallery.

Actually, I figured out what the problem is.

You are getting a mixed content error because our video gallery doesn’t support https:// currently. We are looking to add it in the near future though. If this is a problem for you, I can refund you.

If you go to the https:// version of your site, you can see the video gallery.

Also, it seems that you are getting multiple mixed content errors (not just from Huzzaz) so you might want to check them out.

Did you make sure to activate the plugin on the plugin page?

Also, in order to make sure there are not any conflicts with other plugins, try deactivating all other plugins.

There sure is! On Huzzaz, when you hover over a video a “+” should appear in the top right corner of the video. Just click the “+” and an “Add to” menu will appear with all the collections you have created and you can just select which collection you want to add it to.

Yes you can! Once you go pro, each individual video gallery can be customized to whatever format you want. You can even have the same gallery appear in different formats on different pages!

Our priorities were to make video galleries easy to create, manage and embed on your websites. I think we managed to do that and make it pretty sexy looking, too.

1. The reason that we have cover art for the gallery is because each gallery also lives as video collection on Huzzaz where other people can discover them. We would like each collection to have unique cover art to showcase it’s personality instead of a random video screenshot.

2. Although there is an option to change your display name, that is probably not the solution you are looking for. We have tried to make Huzzaz simple enough to use that non-developers can manage the video gallery on their websites. This way you can embed the video gallery and let your clients manage the content of it and you have don’t have to add and organize the videos every time they want to make updates to the video gallery. They never even have to go in to the WP admin panel. We think that creating an account for each client to manage themselves would actually be less painful for you in the long run. That’s our line of thought anyway. Last thing we want to do is to be a pain in the butt for developers ??

3. Don’t worry, the premium options are coming soon. The pro video gallery will be released by this weekend and it will have the ability to have full-size cover art that graces the entire featured video spot. Soon after there will be an option to pay to remove “powered by Huzzaz”.

We have a lot of big updates coming very, very soon…

Sorry for the current lack in documentation. We will be coming out with videos, screencasts, updated docs, and FAQs soon to help everyone get started with Huzzaz and show off all the features we have to offer.

We fixed the bug that causes the larger playlists (over 50 videos) to not maintain the correct order. Try removing your collection and importing the playlist again. It should import it in the correct order now. If not, let us know by using the feedback button on Huzzaz. We will definitely look in to allowing users to manually input the order to help with managing larger collections in future updates.

We are currently working on new layouts for our Huzzaz gallery and may soon add options for controlling the number of videos per column. You can check out the new layouts here, https://huzzazpro.tumblr.com/

We may make them free for a limited time so be on the lookout.

Currently, it is possible to embed multiple collections on a page by using more than 1 shortcode on the page. If you only want to show 1 gallery at a time, you could use them with a widget that enables tabs.
