Can you double check that the “id” is correct? That message will appear if it’s wrong. Also, if you click on the “</>” button on your collection page, it will give you some code to copy and paste.

Yes, you can create an account by signing up here. You can then import your YouTube playlist by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner and selecting “import YouTube playlist”. Then you can get the shortcode snippet by clicking on the “</>” button on the video collection page.

The first 2 screenshots were taken while a video was playing. Currently, the cover art will always show when the page first loads.

However, there are a few ways to make your cover art look better than any still image of a video. If your cover art has the same background color as the video gallery, it will blend in and appear to take up the whole video box. It’s a great place to put a logo or unique image that characterizes your video collection.

Also, the video gallery name will link to your other video collections so its a great way for your viewers to find even more of your video collections.

Just saw this! Sorry, I didn’t see it sooner. When you use hex codes, make sure to put a * symbol in front of it. So for #000000 (black), use *000000, instead.

I admit it can be a little confusing at first, but the # symbol wasn’t an option that we could use for a hex code identifier. This allows us to also still let people use color names instead of assuming that everything is a hex code.
