Why are you applauding theft of a plugin that has been secure, free and non-commercial for 10 years?

It’s a fundamentally dishonest response to say WordPress plugin industry has largely shifted away from lifetime licenses.

Yes, established software companies with a good reputation move away from lifetime licenses because everybody knows that they are not sustainable in the long run, and they are not meant to be. The purpose of lifetime licenses is to help establish the company. We all know that. You know that, I know that, and the multitude of new software companies or established ones launching a new product who right now are offering lifetime licenses know that.

The point is, when your product does not work the way it should, and you have shut the door on support. When I paid you for my lifetime license, there was no mention of support being limited to one year. The internet has records of your website which I have screen shotted as I assume you will continue lying about this.

I gave you a 1 star due to the same reason, you are 1 of a handful of software developers that treat your lifetime customers like crap.

Just like splaquet mentioned above, we early adopters provided the capital you needed in the early days to help launch you. We early adopters take risks when we invest as the product might only last a few years and then become obsolete. Most software developers recognize this and treat their early supporters with respect, instead of making additional cash grabs on them.

But what is worse is when your product simply doesn’t work and we can’t reach out to you because you close the door on any type of support.

This seems to be a regular problem when rolling back website files and db using Acronis.

Usually adding the SQL User to the DB again fixes the problem, but not always.

I’m using Woothemes Canvas with a whole bunch of plugins including a lot of Pootlepress Canvas extension plugins.
    I did a fairly thorough testing by switching many of the plugins off / on, and now my workflow is;
    > go to plugins , switch of Event plugin
    > Edit my page or post , update
    > go to plugins , switch on Event plugin

I would be happy to set up a test server runnning all the same software and give you access, but not sure how to Private Message you? Thanks for the quick response!

So there is a solution to this?
I would like to build 3 x wordpress WooCommerce sites ASAP.
They need to have a normal shop + ability for members to log-in and access special member-only prices.
There are at least 5 membership levels, but I am hoping for unlimited.

Your solution looks promising but I am very reluctant to sign my client up for a lifetime of fees when I think I can find the same solution for a one-time fee.

Would love to hear your comments on this.
