And very good on guessing the problem!! It never dawned on me to load my safari on iOS WITHOUT content blockers! That was it.

Any ideas why the FB code would be considered an ad?! LOL! Just kidding… I am sure that is something FB did as Zuckerberg said … “ads, Senator”… or was that “cookies, Senator”. LOL!

I thank you Luca, but I prefer to hear form a moderator who works with these things for this very purpose. That link you shared wasn’t exactly my problem, but I appreciate your effort to help.

I am a developer and already tried the inspect among many other things and nothing worked. Inspect doesn’t work well within the visual editor anyway, unfortunately.

Any moderators aware of why this might have happened today?

James, I clearly stated in my title and in both my original post and my reply that this issue is only mobile devices. So yes, you will see it on your desktop. ??

I’d like some help with this issue on MOBILE devices only – as that is the problem. And across multiple plugins and such. Any ideas on why it doesn’t show on mobile “off and on”? Thanks.

No colon on either and certainly shouldn’t have I know. Funny thing is since I posted this question the images have suddenly reappeared in the visual editor. Any ideas from a moderator if that may have happened for any particular reason or if it was a global glitch today?

Well as I mentioned it is happening on all my clients sites and I’ve used the FB developer code in an html plugin, this Jetpack plugin’s FBwidget, and even tried the Easy FB Like Box plug-in (which they say it’s a FB security issue). All the sites have public FB pages (not personal) and all have no restrictions set on their FB bizpages. I’m wondering why it’s happening across multiple plugins. On multiple sites. Also weird how sometimes it shows on mobile devices and the next day it doesn’t.

Yes, I thought of that, however this is not a site I’m working on. Will pass that info onto my friend. Was just hopeful that someone might know of exactly what can cause that outside of doing all that. Thought it might be worth a shot to post it here just in case. Thanks. ??
