In reply to: [Media Cleaner: Clean your WordPress!] Did not workPlease think of your users. Provide meaningful error messages that can be useful to regular folks in deciding what to do next. (We’re not all coders.) A problem is exactly when a helpful message could have alerted me to this option. (And I did not use the plugin for free. I paid for my license.)
Thank you, this worked for me too. Great stuff.

In reply to: [Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer] Axis Bug? (I Know, I Know…)Yeah, figured it was something like that.
I get it. Thankless work. I did struggle before reaching out!
Have a great night.

In reply to: [Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer] Axis Bug? (I Know, I Know…)This was so helpful. Thank you! I managed to get the page to set min and max values so all my charts are now using the same scale.
I did/do see the FAQ entry that starts “Some configuration options call for an Object value”. I think I just needed a few more examples to flesh out that concept. JSON is scary to me, as it probably is to a lot of typical shortcode users.

FYI, the link to Other Notes just below that par (where I was hoping to find some code examples to learn from) just goes back to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/inline-google-spreadsheet-viewer/#other_notes which doesn’t exist.
Thank you again for your help, and for making this fantastic plugin. I really appreciate the nudge in the right direction.

In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] Google analytics error!!This error went away for a few days but, for me, returned this evening.

In reply to: [ShareThis Dashboard for Google Analytics] Google analytics error!!Yes, same error here now, too.
[Ga_Lib_Api_Request_Exception] There was an error while contacting Google API: { "error": { "code": 429, "message": "Insufficient tokens for quota group and limit 'AnalyticsDefaultGroupCLIENT_PROJECT-1d' of service 'analyticsreporting.googleapis.com', using the limit by ID '207216681371'.", "status": "RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED", "details": [ { "@type": "type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.Help", "links": [ { "description": "Google developer console API key", "url": "https://console.developers.google.com/project/207216681371/apiui/credential" } ] } ] } }
On the plus side, tracking seems unaffacted (GA is reporting traffic to my site) but errors like this really shake one’s confidence. I can’t put up with a flaky traffic plugin.

In reply to: [Custom Permalinks] PHP warningsFurther info that might help: I watched the URL in my browser as I tried to go to mydomain.com/listings/work/index.shtml and, in fact, it seemed to be stuck in a loop switching between…
mydomain.com/listings/work/index.shtml
…and…
mydomain.com/listings/work/index.shtml/
…that is, applying and stripping the trailing slash.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Custom Permalinks] PHP warningsFYI: I implemented the first fix but it made my custom permalink pages return “failed to open page” errors. For example a page I had previously working at mydomain.com/listings/work/index.shtml would no longer load.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] delete meta descriptionI just followed the instruction above to click the SAVE button, and it worked for me —?I noticed a note that the cache had been cleared, which makes me think: if you have any caching going on, that might be why you’re still seeing the error after deleting the offending line from header.php. Makes sense? (Or it could have just been a coincidence…)
Also getting this error. Have grepped through the theme files and meta description is definitely not included…
My client reports that this was fixed when she updated to the latest version the other day. (So whatever the previous version was.)
