copy archive.php from the parent theme to the child folder.
then you can edit the template as you like.

we tested the URL. why do you hide Post Title? it’s not good for SEO

the theme doesn’t display Author link when you check “Full width Featured Image” option in the Customizer panel.
we’ll update the theme to fix the issue.
then, did you add biographical information to user profiles?
if there is no biographical information, author bio is not shown.

you broke the theme by editing functions.php file.
you have to reupload the theme or restore the broken files.
don’t edit functions.php file if you’re not sure what you’re doing, you can break your site.
and please, don’t edit theme files. You can lose all modifications if the theme is updated.
