have you looked into an alternate option? like “Randomize” –

Versatile randomizer plugin – just gets/stores random stuff for inclusion/printing somwhere on any page. This could be random quotes, random references to images, random links, etc… – split it in as many categories as you like.

obiscoito .. that sounds pretty cool if it worked … but i think this would not really serve you in your needs of the needs of the winery ..

because … if the conditions are recorded by individuals and are not linked up to a larger database that then syndicates this to a service provider who is national, or at least regional – it would just make sense to manually update the conditions. What do I mean? Someone has to manually put the information in, so why not go ahead and put it on the site. not sure if i am explaining myself clearly or not ..

you could look at how the WeatherIcon works and maybe strip it down to its core and see how it works .. but the problem still exists in someone having to manually put the winery info into a form or database …

i just think that this would be a “no go” becasue it becomes to specific and would be of no mass benefit …

Sadish … I could see how the link reference would have taken you to administry.org .. I apologize for what it is worth .. I had no intentions to direct traffic that way.

I see your point on the “redunancy”, I will see about that and take note of what subtle changes made make in the overall appearance.

If you have any additional suggestions, I will be glad to take them.

jaxshores, i would have to echo scormeny on Gallery2 …

i have successfully installed and incorporated the Gallery and the WPG2 plugin seemlessly in my clients site. I did have to work with it a little, but once you get the hang of it .. it works really good and i would even say GREAT. my client has had nothing but praises about its use.

Thanks for taking a look at the design. I really appreicate your feedback.

I understand the “awkwardness” you are referring to and it will shift off the page as more entries are made … One thing that i am going to do is install a photo gallery, so i think shifting it to a thumbnail will work better, but until I have time to wotk on that, it will remain “as is.”

If you personally decide you would like something similar I would be glad to help you out … I know the client will be pleased once all the minor tweaks have been worked out and the site validates .. this even includes the “announcement” I personally designed that for the client ….
