In reply to: [Search & Filter] Good functionality, poor codeHi netaction
We’ve just updated the plugin to fix this issue – while had not been working much on S&F free, we do want to address issues like this.
As an FYI, we have been working in the background on a new major version of S&F, which is a large rewrite, bringing a ton of new features – it will be released in the next month or two after some more testing.
Thanks

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] COULD BE THE BESTHi Tounizino
Thanks for the comment.
So we can look at the issue, can you tell me how you are using it?
Currently the buttons should work without issue if using the classic editor plugin.
However, the classic editor block (in Gutenberg) has some bugs to be resolved.
We are hoping to mitigate the need for this by releasing a version with Gutenberg integration (FASC buttons will be available in all the blocks you use), however, there is a bug in Gutenberg (which has been fixed) but has not yet made it to a WordPress core release – it should be available in the next couple of weeks.
Anyway, interested to hear your use case and if its something we need to look into further.
Thanks

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] More than one button on a line?Currently the only way is use the keyboard to goto the end of the button, then press right (or space) until the cursor pops out of the button, and then you can insert another button on the same line…
The most consistent way I have found to move them around is by using the arrows on my keyboard and pressing space to seperate them :/

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Any news on Gutenberg update?Hey Lucio
Thanks for the kind words.
I’m afraid right now our resources are spread thin, so this has been pushed back a bit.
I estimate in the next couple of months at the moment to have a fully working version with Gutenberg blocks…. I know that’s a while… :/
Thanks

In reply to: [Search & Filter] Working fine, but is really slowHi there
This is not the correct place to leave reviews for our pro plugin.
But just to reply – the pro plugin, has a special system built to make the searches fast (its built in cache).
The problem could be your server, or the number of posts you are searching (larger numbers of posts will eventually require an increase in server specs).
S&F will be fast on a few thousand posts without issues, on most shared hosting environments – larger databases may require better server / specs etc.
If you have less posts than a few thousand and are having performance issues, then check, are other pages on your site slow? If they are, then S&F cannot speed your website and improve this…
If not, then please re-open a support ticket in the pro forums, and we will look to assist.
Thanks
Hi again
Thanks for the reply.
My request is, if you can make the same change you made previously for me on the free version, to your premium version, as we’re getting users’ having issues when they upgrade to your premium, and it no longer working with our plugin.
Hope that makes sense?
Thanks
Ahh, I realise it’s the same issue ??
However in your premium version, I think the nav bottom is located in
post-grid/templates/nav-bottom.php
right?Adding a
global $paged;
anywhere before the firstpaginate_links
call seems to fix it.Let me know if it’s possible to include this, and then I can update our users’.
Thanks
Hi again
So, I’m getting a few reports of users’ using your premium version, and having pagination issues when combined with our plugin.
Can we open up a dialogue about getting these working together?
Whats the best way to contact you outside of the wordpress forums?
Thanks

In reply to: [Search & Filter] Page in blank after update WP 5.0 and use taxonomiesHi all, ramonjosegn
It sounds like many of you have the same issue.
When you perform a search with S&F, the form is submitted, the info is processed and then there is a redirect to the search results page.
As @crashbdx mentioned, typing the “result url” manually works fine, its just the redirect.
This is because you have some kind of PHP error or warning in your setup. When there is a PHP message displayed, it prevents the redirect from working.
So you need to figure out what is causing your errors.
@ramonjosegn, I see from those logs, that most of the errors are coming from broken-link-checker, so you need to disable / get that fixed.
Alternatively (not generally recommended) is you can hide these errors, usually a setting in your host / server config.
So to summarize, you need to find out what is generating the error. I’m happy to have a look and point you in the right direction if you post the logs here.
If you get a blank screen, then the error is being hidden and you might need to enable WP_DEBUG, or contact you host to get the error logs which show what is causing the issue.
I hope that helps
Thanks

In reply to: [Search & Filter] Page in blank after update WP 5.0 and use taxonomiesS&F seems to work ok with WP 5.0 from our testing.
If you are getting an error, the best way to find out what it is, is to view your error logs.
The best thing to do is enable WP_DEBUG (show errors and logging) – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WP_DEBUG
If you do not get any more information from this 500 page (or in your new error log file), then you need to contact your webhost and ask them for the error log for this (it may be available to view in your webhost admin area).
Once you can view the issue, then we can figure out where the problem is coming from exactly – please let me know the results.
Thanks

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] su_button links not working with GutenbergHey Chris
Thanks for this info, so are you saying when the button gets inserted in the classic editor block, its not inserting the quotation marks properly, and therefor breaking the link?
Thanks
