In reply to: [WP Paint - WordPress Image Editor] Very buggy UIHi @dano1066 ,
We are sorry to hear that you are facing difficulty using the plugin. I would request you to again try using the plugin’s Text feature refering to this video. https://youtu.be/0bhHKxPxE-Q
I am sure you would be able to perform majority of your image editing tasks by following the guides here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6nUXNqfPaZf3hQwV5MEFfR8E214VvnWD
Hi @cazangeorgian ,
We are unable to replicate the issue. Can you try on a clean install without other plugins to ensure that this is a WP Paint specific issue.

In reply to: [WP Paint - WordPress Image Editor] Image reduced to smallersizeWP Paint free version supports a max bounding resolution 1440×810 (1.16 MP). Since this WP Paint editor works on the client-side the mentioned bounding resolution impacts the performance of the front-end editor. So the mentioned max bounding resolution is selected to support the majority of browsers/system specifications. Customization of this is available in WP Paint Pro through GUI.
Hi @cazangeorgian ,
Saving this image should not take you to the gallery home but the to the page from where the edit was invoked.
Hi @cazangeorgian ,
Thanks for the update.
Marking this issue resolved.
Also, do leave 5-star positive feedback at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-paint/reviews/#new-post it will help us keep motivated.
Thanks
Hi @cazangeorgian ,
We are still unable to replicate the issue in our instance. Can you try setting up another fresh WP instance and see if your able to replicate the issue.

In reply to: [WP Paint - WordPress Image Editor] Disable Image Restore (Modify original)Hi @eturi ,
Since
WP Paint
works on the same principles of the WordPress default image editor overwriting the original image is not recommended and supported in order to prevent loss of data.Hi @cazangeorgian ,
From the Chrome Developer tools console logs you have sent it appears there is a Chrome Extension which is conflicting with requests from your website.
Can you try it in Incognito mode with all extensions temporarily turned off?
Hi @cazangeorgian ,
Can you send me any errors that you are seeing on the Chrome Developer console?

In reply to: [WP Paint - WordPress Image Editor] images pixelated to heckTo reduce the browser memory load (and default PHP upload limits), the max resolution of images rendered by WP Paint was earlier set to 921600px. Starting from version WP Paint 0.4.7 it’s now set to 1166400px again considering the browser memory load and default PHP upload limits. Please upgrade your WP Paint version to 0.4.7 and see if the zooming pixelation issue has mitigated a bit.
Also, it is to be noted that to prevent loss of detail and blurring of images on zooming images, Image Smoothing is disabled upon zoom just like standard Desktop editors.
Here is an example of 200% zoom on WP Paint vs GIMP (A Popular Powerful Desktop Image Editor)
You can see clearly both pixellated very similarly.
