Hi @justgrubb, “Resolved” was the wrong word to use, I implemented a different solution. I’m using the “Stackable” plugin on my site and they have a Posts block that works well. So I deselected the page as a posts page in the Reading Settings and added the Posts block to it.

Thanks for your reply. I resolved this. Please consider adding the standard WordPress excerpt option in future updates. This basic feature of WordPress shouldn’t require a plugin or special coding.

Hi John, thanks for the reply. You are correct.

When we installed WordPress, we setup the site url to be https://tobyleary.com and the WordPress address to be https://tobyleary.com/shop. Changing the site URL to the shop page resolved the issue.

My apologies for being confusing, I didn’t word that very well. I installed WordPress for a “Shop” page rather than on the directory root like normal. I don’t think the fact that the rest of the site is non-WP is affecting this, but wanted to mention that to give all the info I could think of.

I got this working. The JQuery error was caused by the jquery.easing file. I fixed it by following the directions on this blog post: https://www.gilluminate.com/2011/06/06/jquery-easingjquery-easing-def-is-not-a-function/

Only problem I have now is the “x” for the close box isn’t appearing. I’m going to search to see if there is already a solution for that.

I changed the cookies to 0 and changed the effect. How do I fix the javascript issue on the plugin?

I enabled ajax mode. How do I set cookies to 0?
