In reply to: [Age Gate] Transparent BackgroundThanks Phil, your welcome.
I just installed and setup the beta4 version on my site. I plan on doing a series of testing this week looking for any conflicts or bugs. My plan is a soft launch next week.
If I encounter any issues I’ll start using the feedback form moving forward. Feel free to consider this support thread closed.
I appreciate all the support.

In reply to: [Age Gate] Transparent BackgroundNo problem at all Phil. I appreciate the follow-up. Great to hear the transparent background will be part of the first release for V2. This design style will look amazing with our design.
I’m working toward a launch in roughly 2 weeks, do you think rolling out V2 in my launch would be too risky? The project is an eCommerce WooCommerce store, not sure if V2 has been tested with the store setup. Would love your insight on launching with V2.

In reply to: [Age Gate] Transparent BackgroundPhil, first of all, thanks for developing a great plugin! I’ve been using the older version and excited to checkout the v2 beta 2 release today. Downloaded it now.
I’m going to bump the request to 4 people on the overlay opacity showing the site in the background. I plan on testing it on the Theme https://flatsome3.uxthemes.com/. It’s a very popular theme for use with WooCommerce and Brewery Type Websites. I’m working on a new site, do you have a rough timeline on when v2 might be promoted to release ready? And I assume the opacity site in the background wouldn’t make the release.
Plus, I’m happy to donate to the effort as well. I didn’t see the donate in the v2, is the version in v1 still operable?
Thank you UM Support Team. Apologies, I missed this post with information about the upgrade to 2.0 for the extensions as well.
The 2.0 extension was installed and worked perfectly. The issue can be closed as verified fixed.
I appreciate the quick response.
I reproduced the same issue. I had to uninstall the plugin as it was crashing the forms in 2.0
I’ve encountered this issue in 2.0 as well.
Noticed a few issues to help troubleshooting for the Ultimate Member support team.
1. The default user “Subscriber” needs to be listed in the Edit Choices list. If not, it will break when a user selects a role. The role will be added as “none” or “subscriber”.
2. If you edit the order of the list at all. The default order is still provided to the user, not the reordered list.
I attempted to duplicate Roles Dropdown after I edited the list, it created a separate meta key: role_select_33. But this didn’t work either.
@mamkong, I assume you haven’t figured out a work around yet?
