It helps you add an animation exported from AE’s lottie plugin as a JSON file, into a WordPress page / post as a shortcode.

You add a new animation under the ‘Animations’ menu entry in your backend and right below the ‘Preview’ section there should be a ‘Shortcode generator’ section from which you get your shortcode from.

    Hi,

    It is pretty straightforward.
Add a new animation and upload your JSON file. Copy the shortcode and paste it where you want it to appear.

What do you need help with?

I doubt that a field that accepts SVG for a site logo would be configured to accept shortcodes. Also, there is no standardized way in WP to filter the site’s logo so that a plugin could alter it in such a manner across all themes.

I am afraid you will need someone to code it for you on the specific theme.

    Hi,

You have to make sure that wherever you place the shortcode, shortcodes are supported.
If it is the regular content area of a post/page, it should work. If other shortcodes work in that area, the bodymovin shortcode should work too.

Googling i found a few themes named Semplice and i am not sure which one you are using.
If you give me the URL where i can see the shortcode, perhaps i can help you better.

    Regards

    Hi,

    Short answer: no.
From what I can see, Lottie doesn’t accept a framerate parameter. The speed can be set using a method on the animation’s instance but that raises the complexity beyond what we would like at this point.

Perhaps in a future version if there is demand for such an option.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

The shortcode works in WPBakery’s page builder. About the other 2 plugins, we can’t say as it is not tested.

If you test it and find any issues let as know and we will have a look.

    Best regards

    Thank you Damien,

Of course, pull requests are welcome as well as suggestions for improvements.
I ‘ll put up a repo on GitHub to make it easier for everyone.

Will be pushing a new version that includes a fix for the mime type check as soon as possible. Currently there is something wrong with the plugins SVN repo.

    Best regards
