…all your assumptions are correct and the staging site was created via cPanel. I have done it several times (also for this website) both cloning and staging, and it always creates a perfect copy. I could try to do it again, but the question remains: how can a site with a problem be cloned into one without that problem? We must solve the problem first, instead of addressing the difference between live and staging sites, also because it came out of the blue with one of the latest updates: extremely slow editing and blank page most of the times.

Can’t you guys help me in that direction?

hi Igor, the live site has 2 more plugins than the staging site, but unfortunately I cannot install them there because they are premium plugins with a licence for one domain only. I tried to deactivate them from the live site, though, but the result is the same (i.e. products take 2 minutes to open and they fail to open)

I have no idea what is going on ?? For instance, if I duplicate a product I get a blank page, but it actually creates the product in the list in a draft status. I just have no chance to edit it.

It has nothing to do with the Classic Editor plugin.

I don’t think clearing the cache at server level helped at all. I still get random product’s white pages. Even creating/duplicating gives me a blank page. Besides, I don’t have the skills to debug via the javascript console ?? I’m stuck

The results with other browsers is the same, i.e. it takes over a minute before a product opens, and though sometimes it opens, most of the times I get a white screen. The issue is too randomized to grab it. Occasionally I even get a database connection error. You may suggest something is wrong on the server but it isn’t because the staging site has no issues, and it was created from scratch so it should have carried the issue along with it, but it didn’t.

so it could be that WPJM update has messed the things up. Yet, this is hard to recover unless LOCO’s support comes to help.

I had done my conflict test on my first step, with no results. I confirm it happens on all products. How can it be that I have no issue on the staging site, which is cloned by the site with the issue?
