In reply to: horizontal page navigation sub pagesthanks.
but this displays just the whole navigation structure without the excluded pages.is there a way to use this child_of=$post->ID to display child pages of a certain page?
like this child_of=$post->8
Means writing a number instead of ID.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: horizontal page navigation sub pagesi have a couple subpages, which i dont wanna show in this sub navigation. if i would take out the exclude tag you could see these pages listed in the navigation.

In reply to: horizontal page navigation sub pagesoh sorry o forgot to say that i am using a plugin to define a page as startpage. this is the Unternehmen BRD page.
i am pretty sure that child_of=$post->ID is the problem here. because the clicked childpage has no own child pages, so there can’t be a navigation for child pages.
unfortunately my php skills are very weak to find a solution. maybe it needs just a little “if… then…” action.

In reply to: child page navigation disapearsmaybe i should bring up the link.
https://www.wds-institut.de/test/it less about the what the page shows, its more about the fact that the sub navigation is gone on a child page.

In reply to: blog style does’nt apply to the blog itselfi am just a small step further. but still, my comment page does’nt look like it supposed to do.

blog layout (still buggy)
https://www.buckhornproductions.ca/blog/i replaced the original header in the theme folder with my header. i think there is the mistake, but i can’t see it. i have to use my own header, which is used on every page too within my website. it seem thats just a part of the css is used. the background and the navigations works fine, but the part around the content is missing. i have little doubts about myself, i mean it can’t be that difficult to apply a custom design to a comment page. maybe i am approaching the issue from the wrong side.

In reply to: blog style does’nt apply to the blog itselfunfortunatly a new link problem appears.
when you click the comment button or the article headline you end up at the start page. it cut off the blog.php and just add the page id to the url
https://buckhornproductions.ca/?p=36
instead of
https://buckhornproductions.ca/blog.php?p=36another problem is why is this page unformated? i dont get it. it should be affected by the general css file.
thanks

In reply to: blog style does’nt apply to the blog itselfthanks for your reply, but i dont think this will solve the problem. i think it has nothing to do with the css file because when you click on “previous entries”
the url seems to be wrong
https://buckhornproductions.ca/blog.php/blog.php?paged=2instead of
https://buckhornproductions.ca/blog.php?paged=2thanks

In reply to: formating the comment pageForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: formating the comment pagethe problem is not formatting the comment its self, its more the things around. normaly the background, header preferences should be the same like the index page. but in my case backgroundcolor in the content field is different and the header too gets some strange borders.
