no, i never did get this fixed.

from your posts, it sounds like a theme problem though.

not sure where to even start with trying to fix it.

    Thanks for your help.

    I figured this one out…
seems like under each of the MU sites you need to have the upload path set to wp-content/uploads

    network admin>sites>edit site>Upload Path

set that to the above, and all works well.
    Thank you!

    Hey guys,
I have been having the same problem described above from khan.shabnam
There was no previous version of MaxGalleria installed.

    blackforestltd.com
    WordPress 4.2.3
    Multisite
    Godaddy Hosting
    Photocrati NextGEN version 2.1.2
    Photocrati NextGEN Plus version 1.3.5
    Maxgalleria Version 4.08

When i go to import the NextGen images it looks like Maxgalleria is finding the gallery and the images (19 in this instance) but when I hit import it acts like there is something happening…then the gallery created has zero images in it….

is there something I am missing???
Thank you for the help and the alternative to NextGen…I am looking forward to being able to search the images.

    w.bear,
sorry I didn’t see that you had replied to this message.
I went to the thread you suggested and looked for the /nggfunction.php file. it is no longer there.

just to get you up to speed. Still having the same function error but now using:

    WordPress: 3.6.1
    Nextgen Gallery: 2.0.31

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am very novice to the PHP world.
    Thanks

in the above information the “From:” address should not be [blog_name]

shouldn’t it be the name of my blog????

so basically when your looking at the list of new emails you have it looks like this…for instance

    FROM Subject Date
    [blog_name] Your Order Receipt Today

    I hope that makes sense.
I appreciate your attention on this.
Thank you for all your help.

i did see that in the email templates area. Funny thing though. that part was working. the address was coming through just not the “website/blog name”. so in your email under “From” it says [blog_name] and then the “Subject” is correct.

then once you open the email the “header area” with the from address and such looks like this:

    From:[blog_name] <[email protected]>
Subject: Cash awaiting payment -Completed Payment Ref:552300028503e411a3ae08
    Date: August 29, 2012 11:19:57 AM CDT
    To: [email protected]

this one happens to be a sales report, but all the emails have the same thing happening.

Thank you for keeping up on this and working on it.
    Have a great day

checked that and there is a site title in the settings page you mentioned. Not sure what is up…if another setting somewhere is messing with it or another plugin maybe????

Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

Wanted to let you know about this stuff.
I have tried using another plugin that says it can do multisite and thought this may help you to get the user upload to individual sites to work…

they had me put a string into the csv file and it did put the users onto the other websites along with the site that i had uploaded them from.

    hope this helps

Thank you so much for all your help and work on this. I think this is a very cool and useful tool when you get it done….

As far as the “role” i have my csv file set up with the “role” column as you stated in the instructions. now i know it’s not working because it is not done yet…that is ok. i have set up a default user role for each website that seems to be working and other users that get special roles are only a few per website so not a big deal to add them individually.

what i was talking about with the “user-url”
that is the area i have been using to determine the users website they should be uploaded to, but also now know that is not working at the moment also.

    For the emails:
on the main site i do have the “Send each new user a registration notification email?” checked. Also have the “Email me a complete list of new user account details?” checked and that is working. Each time I add users, I do get an email telling me who got added to the main website, but nothing when i add those people to the subsites.

    * One thought that I think would be nice is…when you get the ability to have the plugin add the users to specific websites you could have that as a part of the email. so it may look something like:

This email is to confirm new user accounts for your website generated using the Add Multiple Users plugin.
    1. New user successfully registered. Login: “NAME” Password: “PASSWORD” Email: “EMAIL” Website: “WEBSITE NAME”

this way you would know what website the person is a part of. That would be sweet!

anyway, i know your working on this when you get a chance and i really appreciate your help.
    Thanks so much!

    *edit*
also can not get the plugin to send the user emails. Have changed things and it keeps sending the default wordpress new user email.

    thanks

    Great. thanks for the reply.

Should have let you know i am trying to use the 2.0 beta version. Seemed like that may have the functionality i was looking for.

i am trying to add the users to a “specific site” (such as user_url) but only upload them to one place. I don’t care if they are users on the main website, just that i wouldn’t have to add the 300+ people at a time to their each site individually. any suggestions or is this what you are still working on in the 2.0 version?

right now i can upload the users no problem.
    > I have a csv set up with user_login, user_pass, user_email, first_name, last_name, show_admin_bar_front, Company, user_url, role

the information does get uploaded and fills in the users main information. Problem comes with adding the users to the individual sites with their roe.

Once they are uploaded they only show on the main website as a user (example.com), not on each individual website as a user. (example.com/test1)

Is this a working function of the 2.0 plugin?
am i adding the info to the csv wrong? or have some settings wrong? does the plugin need to be activated on each site, or network activated?

thanks so much for your help.

    (@dezahn)

yes it lets me do that. i can make the subdomain example.example.com and then select a folder for it too.

so there is no public_html folder to choose from.
what folder do i select for the subdomain to point to?
should it be the main wordpress folder or one of the interior folders?
    folder setup:
folder where domain points and wordpress install: /test_bfl
    subfolders:
    /wp-admin
/wp-content, /wp-content/blogs.dir, plugins, themes, upgrade, uploads
    /wp-includes

the blogs.dir folder also has some subfolders that I didn’t create that look like they are for uploading content from the subdomains.

again. seems like some of the multisite stuff is working, just not connecting to the themes or admin areas. there is just links when you go to the subdomains????
sorry for the problems. hopefully this makes sense.
thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

    (@dezahn)

sorry. maybe i have this totally screwed up, but there is no public_html folder. do i need to create one?

yes it does ask me what folder to point the domain to.
should i create the public_html folder, give it write access and then point all the subdomains to that folder.
    thank you for your help.
