In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Reset Data IntervalHi,
That option refers to daily records only and only those would be deleted. The weekly, monthly, yearly and total views are never removed.
The process of daily data cleanup happens once a day.

In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] consent mode v2Hi,
The cookie_notice_accepted is set in just basic Cookie Notice mode and is not able to handle Google consent types. You need Google Consent Mode support for that.
This is available if you run the plugin integrated with Cookie Compliance.
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, Cookie Compliance provides automated Google Consent Mode for all the domains under a Pro plan. So if you use the plugin in Cookie Compliance integration mode (built in) you’ll have that covered too.

In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] Multisite supportYes, it is. It does provide network level settings which allow you to decide how the configuration should work. If your multisite is using subdomains or subfolders you can use one configuration and one license for a domain.

In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] Cookie isn’t setThanks for letting us know.
Maybe style.css is not where you should place this code.
Please try Additional CSS feature of WordPress to apply that.
Thanks.
We’ll have a look at it and provide a fix if the issue is confirmed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] User refuses cookies and then?Hi,
Thanks for your questions. There are couple of things here that we’d put into 3 points:
- Just WP plugin, without Cookie Compliance app integration displays the banner, stores the consent in the visitor browser and gives you a way to manually (via Scripts option) or programatically (via custom coding based on the cookie value) do something with the user consent
- Cookie Compliance does much more – not only it provides additional consent choices required by some regulations, stores the consent in both browser and the app, handles prior 3rd party services blocking (Autoblocking option), handles Google Consent Mode integration and much more. What it does is related to an anonymous website visitor and we call it a Cookie Consent.
- What you are asking about is something else (even though it is heavily related to privacy) – ability to store privacy and preferences consent assigned to a user identified with personal information (at least email). That would happen for example in a newsletter signup, user registration, store checkout and other forms. It’s a separate functionality we call a Privacy Consent. It’s an upcoming feature of Cookie Compliance that should be released within next 3 months.
I hope this answers your questions.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Document (Premium)Hi,
No, for now there is no such thing. But we can think of implementing something similar if you shared some more info/an example.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Shortcode to display ALL Visits?Hello,
There is a [site-views] shortcode available. It includes additional “period” parameter, that allows you to define from what data period the site views would be displayed. However this shortcode is available in the Pro version only.
Hi,
Cookie Compliance provides support for Google Consent Mode V2 for all the domains under one of the Pro plans. It’s as simple a checking the option in the Cookie Compliance dashboard – it requires no coding or JavaScript templates. It should work right away if only GTM or gtag has been added to the site according to Google defined methods.
Feel free to read more about Google Consent Mode in Cookie Compliance here https://cookie-compliance.co/documentation/google-consent-mode/
Hi,
This is a good question and something we’ve been discussing a lot internally. Let me answer this way:- To become a Google-certified CMP you need to provide support for IAB’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) as you mentioned
- In our opinion IAB TCF is not compatible with many privacy regulations including GDPR
- Google is a 3rd party service provider that should be controlled by CMP and not vice versa.
In that context – we’re not sure that becoming a Google-certified CMP is the right way to go. It has nothing to do with handling consent and privacy regulations, it’s all about returning to the point where 3rd parties controlled, owned an processed users data without any control.
