In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Bugs with salient wpbakeryHi,
Really not sure what could generate that. Did you check the browser console for some JS/CSS issues?
We’re about to release a new version soon that we hope target’s the issue. But problem is we couldn’t replicate it in any of our enviroments.
We’ve been checking this in multiple enviroments and weren’t able to replicate the issue. Please reach out to our support system through Cookie Compliance app as we need more information and access to the site to be able to find a fix.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] How to use PVC with Elementor PostsHi,
Wouldn’t a popular posts widget that comes with PVC work for this purpose for you? Why do you need to use a combination of plugins to display them? Sorry, maybe not fully understand your questions but that’s what comes to me.
Hi,
You should be able to dismiss it with a click of a button – that’s how it’s been designed. If you’re experiencing any issues there must be a javascript or slimilar error that prevents that. Have you checked the browser console?

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Counter returns to 0 after 1000 viewsMaybe there’s a different plugin responsible for the issue, not the theme – we don’t know that. Just gave you the idea how it works and how this could get affected.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Counter returns to 0 after 1000 viewsHi,
The problem might come from outside of the Post Views Counter – most probably your theme or a different plugin is modifying the number format function, which is used by PVC (https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/number_format_i18n/). It is used in order to format the views number for thousands and other larger numbers – that would explain why it gets distorted right after exceeding 1000.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Post Views Meta KeyHi,
Post Views Counter does not store views data in metadata. It’s using a separate database table to handle that in order to keep things lightweight and fast as possible. So this method will not work. But the plugin has a built in functions and a shortcode to get and display the views – please try one of them.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] BUGS in version 1.4Hi,
We’ve made some changes on how the homepage is being counted and that probably resulted in an issue. Working on a fix already and this should be sorted out in the upcoming 1.4.1 release.
Thanks

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Malware = Malwarebytes = Your website = dfactory.coHi,
We’ve never had in issue like that and don’t know why this showed up to you. Is this something you’re still experiencing?

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] How can I show Post Views from only One categoryHi,
If it’s a widget you’re using to display the most popular posts then there’s a “pvc_most_viewed_posts_args” filter hook that you can use to adjust that. What this filter allows for is to modify the parameters for the WP native get_posts() function. So it can handle the same parameters including categories. Please try to play with this filter hook and you should be able to come up with a solution.

In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] not show up errorWe’ve never experienced an issue like that and looking at your site it’s working 100% fine. To be honest, I can’t imagine a scenario when something like that occurs. Did you manage to get some more info on when this happens?
