    Note that your plugin overrides whatever page name that is created for the listings and is selected in your plugin settings as the location for the listings with the name/page of “property.” I’ve tried it several times and it changes it every time.

    I.e., I create a page named “Property Listings” and then selected “Property Listings” in your settings. Then when I create a new listing “123 Main Street” it shows the new listings URL as https://www.mywebsite.com/property/123 main street instead of https://www.website.com/property-listings/123 main street.

    Then I made a new page/subdirectory called “property” (mywebsite.com/property) to match what your plugin changes the new listings to and when I click on the page the listing does not show and when I insert the listing’s URL directly into the browser I get a 404 error.

    Can’t spend anymore time on this. Either this plugin has bad bugs or its instructions need to be completely rewritten. But make no mistake about it, your plugin is automatically changing the name of the subdirectory created for the listings. I’ve checked that several times and it has changed it every single time.

    Hope this helps. I would still love to use this plugin.

    Good luck.

    Ok. Just tried again. It does not work correctly. When I click on view page on the listing page on the admin page where I created it says 404 page not found. When it does show a thumbnail of the listing it also shows every page of the my site and all meta tags and categories under it in a vertical column even though these items are not shown anywhere else on my website. Then when I click on see more on that thumbnail it goes to 404 page not found.

    It is a great concept and I hope you get the bugs worked out or at least design it where the non-expert can use it.

    Best wishes

    Ok. I’ll try it one more time. Ali I assure you I want this to work more than you do. It looks like a fantastic plugin. Maybe I’m missing something and I’m willing to go back and find it. But if I’m having trouble as a fairly experienced WP website developer and real estate broker I’m sure others may be having it too.

    Do I need to create a property listings page or does it do it on it’s own? It created this one (property) on its own and it showed to be on it in the plugin settings page. If I need to create one exactly what does the page name have to be? (property? property listings? or what?)

    Just went back and reloaded it and tried it again. Still does not work. It puts the listings I create under a subdirectory it creates called “property” (i.e., wwww.mywebsite.com/property/listing) but when I click on “view property” I get a 404 page can’t be found. I’ve tried it several times and I used the procedure you use in your video. Any suggestions?

    I just watched the video (I searched YouTube for it before but did not realize this video was for WP Real Estate plugin – you might want to put the plugin name in the title). I just realized what the problem may be. Does this plugin have to be on the blog portion of a WordPress website or can be on any page? In other words, is it designed assuming the whole WordPress website is a blog?

    I have the same question. In the interim you can easily make a separate email button using the ultimate short codes plugin. I just found it and it has solved several layout issues I had including the email link/button. Hope it helps.

    @acub

    It can wait now that I know a change is in the works.

    Thank you for the help. Your immediate solution is way over my head I’m afraid. But I’m sure it will help other more advanced users.

    Thanks for the code. Still can’t get it to work. I put it in my child theme and changed the pixels and nothing. I can’t find the “span” information using firebug. Of course I’m relatively new at this so it may be right in front of me and I can’t see it.

    Again, thanks for the help. If you think of something else let me know. If I find the answer I’ll post it here.

    @acub

    Thanks in advance. I look forward to a solution too if there is one. I used the above code to reduce slider height by 100px and it made the entire slider drop down over an inch on my iPhone screen on narrow view.

    @web

    I looked at your site on my iPhone 5 to see how the above changes worked and looked and noticed your featured images are off center. Just wanted to let you know. Great looking site.

    @matt

    Thanks for the information.

    Yes

    I’m on an iPhone 5. Mine doesn’t do it.

    I thought you coded that function in.

    @matt

    How did you get the full site option or choice when the site is first pulled up? In other words how do you get the full site to show on mobile devices?

    I’ve hunted everywhere and even posted on here about it and can’t find out how to do it.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I just tried it and it worked great. Thank you. Simple solutions, all things being equal, are the best ones!
