The form stops working because it is hard coded that the product name is “required”. There is a setting to turn off required/not-required but the setting is broken. When I go in settings and make it not required then it still requires it!

This was my plan, to hide the field with CSS, but I am getting errors that the field is required. It is set as not required in the settings though. Can someone else test it and make their product name ‘not required’ and see if it still requires???

No I haven’t. I’ve tried contacting the creator for a few weeks now and I’ve got nothing. Anyone have any luck getting in touch with the creator or have an email?

In my case I’m working on a clients website so I will not be around to edit their core plugin files every time they decide to do a round of updating. So changing the file on every update is not a solution for me. I’ll let you know if I find a way…

There is a way to override template files by adding code to your functions.php file. I just can’t figure it out. Trying to now.

If you do it this way your changes will be overwritten the next time the plugin updates. Don’t do it this way. There’s got to be another way but I can’t figure it out

Do a hard refresh. Crtl-Shift-R. It’s probably using the old CSS file in cache

I read in another thread that they were suggesting to edit the core plugin files but you shouldn’t. If you do then it will get overwritten on the next update. You can easily do it this way stated above.
