This is definitely possible but not with this plugin as this is intended for a developer testing purpose. The functionality you are looking for should be available as part of your subscription plugin. If not already there then it should be extendable to assign the custom roles to the user.

I would suggest checking with your subscription plugin first. If that’s not available then we could look to extend the plugin.

Hi Manish,

This plugin intends to use for the site testing purposes and it changes the user role temporarily for a quick test of the site with a different user role. This will not change the user role automatically. What you are asking for is a completely different feature that is not in the scope of this plugin.

Can you share more information about your issue? In the admin bar, you should see a menu with the link to switch back option.

Hi @chadrex, you should be having a menu option as Switch Back in the admin bar, this will help you to switch back to the admin role again.

Nope, nothing will happen to your tags and it will stay on the site. I’m actively working on this plugin now to add few more additional functionalities and it will be compatible with the latest WP version. Expect a release soon.

The issue I was running into was once a category with children was moved, the parent to child relationship no longer existed.

Yes, I acknowledge this issue and I will fix this in the next release.

Hi @ctrlaltdelete, This plugin built on top of the taxonomy converter plugin since the other one is not maintained anymore. Also, I’m thinking to add additional features to it.
