What are you using for the link, the entire path or just the file name?

I found that not only the php replacement worked, but I also found out that you have to use the whole file name, instead of using , which is what I was doing, I had to use for it to not have a zero byte download. So your advice was very helpful, pupuni, thanks! I hope to change my download links to mbMini whenever I get the free time too,I am quite happy with it!

The audio file is exactly the same as my site. My site, by the way is https://www.nationalanthems.info . I don’t have the mb.miniAudioPlayer activated now (I only activate it when I’m testing it) because it converts my “download” links into an mbMini player, meaning that it makes my page have two players (the existing blubrry one and the mbmini one) and no working download link yet, the goal is to replace the blubrry links with the mbmini links, as I do like the download button on yours. If you wanted to take a look for yourself, I can activate the mbmini plugin again until you’re done looking.

Still didn’t work for me, still getting the zero byte downloads. ??

On mine, I got just zero MB files when I downloaded them. I too would like to know how to get this fixed.

Ah, I’ve been using it in widgets. It works fine (although I have to make it smaller), but widgets don’t have that kind of an editor button. Oh well.

That is done, and I set it up on https://www.nationalanthems.info/abk.htm . The plugin seems to be working, but now there’s some other wonkiness:

* The download link just links to https://www.nationalanthems.info/download/https://www.nationalanthems.info/abk.mp3 which obviously doesn’t exist. (https://www.nationalanthems.info/abk.mp3 is the address of the file I wish to have people download. If I just enter abk.mp3 between the [download] [/download] tags, the link comes out as https://www.nationalanthems.info/download/https://abk.mp3, which is still wrong.

* There is still the message on the top of my dashboard that says “There is a problem with the download script in your /wp-content/ directory. You may need to manually upload it.” Considering I have the problem described above, I’m not surprised.

And I’ll remember about the custom style section, hadn’t really poked around in the options.

Well, the code is always the same, don’t have to alter it, but what I was thinking would be nice is the fact that for these the clubbry shortcode will be the same on all the pages except one little bit.

For example, on one page, I’ll have to enter [powerpress url=”ca.mp3″] in the Custom Fields area to get it to display, another one I’ll have to enter [powerpress url=”in.mp3″], another [powerpress url=”de.mp3″], another [powerpress url=”no.mp3″] – you see, 99% of what I have to enter is the same, I was hoping there was a way I couldenter in just the variable part (the ca, or in, or de) in the custom fields area and have the rest taken care of.

Again, no big deal, as I can just cut and paste it from others and change the relevant variable area, but a guy can dream. ??

Never mind, got it fixed!

For the record, I used the “Use Shortcode in Widgets” plugin, and altered its code.

Ideally I’d also like to make it so that I don’t have to type the entire Blubrry code each time (which is [powerpress url=”unique-filenamemp3″] as well as some custom text afterwards which is always the same) and rather just enter the unique filename in the custom fields app, but I don’t want to be seeming like asking a lot of things from everyone, I’m pleased with how it is currently!

Hmmm, still doesn’t seem to work, I’ve been using the Blubrry and Collapse-o-matic shortcodes in text widgets before no problem, but even after I downloaded and activated that small plugin, there doesn’t seem to be a change
